Update

It has been while since I did anything on the car, I've been lazy. By the way happy very belated New Year to everyone.

I've had my ACPT driveshft and 05 steering wheel for quite some time, so yesterday i dug them out of a dusty garage and with the help of a good buddy, we installed them. Also installed the much needed 4 TiC shifter linkage bushings and now I can actually tell if I'm in gear or neutral

As for review on the ACPT carbon fiber driveshaft, well...I've drove home for about 30 miles, so a detailed review will come later if anyone needs more info other than everything already been explained on two large threds. I must say 5th gear pulls much harder.

Lastly we did the kartboy exhaust hangers. Tom, if you are reading this, my buddy said he wants to double kick you in the balls for making them so hard to install. I've never used so much effort and strength on installing such easy pieces. Double kick in the groin buddy is inevitable, once from him and once from me

(P.S. your short shifter is great though)

how's the harmonics with the new driveshaft? does it vibrate bad? what are the negatives of it. I wan't one, but don't want the increased nvh

Thanks man. Is your 5th gear grinding? Not sure if you tried some different tranny fluid, what replacement gear do you have in mind? Those JDM 6 speeds have a better 5th gear gearing if that's a viable option.

thanks for the info about the turbo I'll definitely think about it.

The hangers were kind of a ***** to take out and put on. At first I only did the rear ones because i didn't want to jack up the car. Putting on the hanger on the right side of the muffler was a pain. I just used wd40 and waited a bit for it to lubricate it. Taking the hagners off wasn't too bad, though. Did you install yours yet?

No problem, comming from someone who have a 20g, going with a 30r is the best route.

Hangers are on, fought all four of them. I used two extended ones in the rear, two red ones up front so I had extra ones to take pictures with.

yeah i was lookin at the jdm gears. might get those or just 07's plus a rebuild kit. maybe ppg's, but i'm not gonna go big enough to really need those, we'll see. i gotta try some different fluid first,but i don't have too much faith it'll do much. it's not all the time tho. i've tried every combo of clutchin and speed, but it'll do it no matter what if i'm rowing thru the gears. just nice/easy slow driving it's fine. i'll prob do 5th and 6th, but see how it looks when they get in there.it;s not real bad tho. i think my prelude was way worse... i've rebuilt a few trannies before, but i'm not messing with this one

...eh it's not as bad as i make it sound. drove yesterday and it didn't grind at all
