It all started with.... a 2002 WRX that I had modified. Reliability became an issue so I decided it was time to upgrade. After getting many price quotes, I bought a 2007 STi in the middle of August 2007.

This car is my daily driver, as well as being my track car for all of the track days I go to (about once a month). As far as power goes, my plans are a downpipe and tuning. I will be attempting to make this thing handle as well as possible though.

Day 1:
I couldn’t even go a day without messing with my new STi. First thing I did was remove the intake silencer. Now I can actually hear my turbo! :-D After that I removed the center pillar in the grill, more airflow to the radiator is always a good thing.
I never did get a picture of it stock though :-\

Day 2:
The day after I bought the car, I was browsing the local classifieds on another forum and found some RaceComp Engineering Tarmac 2 coilovers at a killer price. I had been looking into these previously but hadn’t planned on buying them for a little while. I couldn’t pass up the deal though, so I picked them up and installed them right away. Another good deal popped up as well so I now have a set of Nitto NT01’s sitting in my garage waiting for wheels and track brake pads. I also hardwired my Valentine 1 that I had in my previous WRX as well as put a banner across the top of the windshield.

And yes, I know it is filthy but I was about to take it to get tint and knew that it would be a lost cause to wash it before hand.

Love the sticker, car is definitely slammed.. looks really good though. Next time you come across a great deal on some T2s, let this guy know.

Day 3:
Today I got 20% tint on all 5 windows… I think 20% is perfect but I’m not sure if I’m happy with the job that was done. The lines cut in the tint aren’t great and I think they may have ripped the rubber piece near the mirror on the passenger side (I don’t think it was there previously).

Day 4:
Today I got a ticket for my tint and no proof of insurance, even though the car is only 4 days old... both are fix it tickets though so no big deal. Didn't even go a full day without a tint ticket though.

Day 5:
First wash and wax. Found a few manufacturing blemishes in the paint on the hood so I am going to bring it to the dealership and see what they will do about it.

In the last week, I haven't done a whole ton. I hard mounted the Valentine1 and mounted the remote display along with painting the headlights.
