IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 Trader Rating: (5) | It looks like I will have my 30R sooner, rather than later. I will be buying a Perrin kit off of a member from here within the next coming weeks (have to remove some stuff). It is .82 A/R (I wanted 1.06 but that can always be switched later ) so it looks like we will be twins (kinda, but not really). LOL!! I am going to have the tmic for a little longer before I go fmic with reverse mani...sorry for the hijack, I am just stoked and you got my dream setup before me, but now I am catching up.P.S. Thanks for the props. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 Trader Rating: (5) | Hey Rookie, some guy on Nasioc is looking for a Genome axle-back, I told him to check you out on here. You are selling one, right? |

| Spec C Club | Thanks, guys I really appreciate all the positive feedback.importfanatic, Be aware that this take lots of trial and error in order for the TB inlet pipe to fit. For me, that meant lots of $$$ spend in labor since I had Agile do everything. Just know what you're gettting yourself into before you go about doing this. It is definitely one of a kind setup, though, and I'm pretty sure you'll be happy when you're done with it, although the process can be frustrating. And yes, I'm selling a Genome axleback. Thanks for pointing that guy towards me.Oh, and update... Seibon reverse scoop is now on the car. Pics will come shortly. |

I am worried about the Perrin intake though and may do a cold air type deal like yours, or go with something like the Ultimate Racing intake GREAT SETUP, bro, and sell that Genome so you can mod some more!! Last edited by importfanatic17; 08-27-2007 at 03:29 PM. | |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2007 Trader Rating: (5) | It's okay, I need to sell my ESX tmic to help buy a 44mm wastegate and fmic...if only money grew on trees. ![]() I just looked on your graphs, and power comes on later than I thought. I was hoping to see peak torque in the lower 4k range with the reverse mani. It also looks like you have peak horse all the way to redline, time to extend it...lol Last edited by importfanatic17; 08-27-2007 at 09:51 PM. |

| Spec C Club | I would love to have a 8000 redline engine... but I have no idea if I'll have enough money. We'll see when the time comes for a rebuild. I was kinda disappointed at the peak torque coming on later than I thought would as well, but I'm happy with the setup anyway even if it's just for the fact that it is one-of-a-kind, and the engine bay looks so much better. Looks like the reverse manifold does not have huge effect on spool. Something to think about before going with reverse mani since it takes a lot of work to do so.Anyway, looks like I'll have to go back to Agile to smooth out the tune because I'm seeing boost spike when the turbo hits full boost. Right at full boost, the boost climbs to 24-25psi momentarily, and the quickly settles back down to 22.5, which is the target. I'm out of town right now so I let my brother borrow my car since his Supra will be getting some work done, and he told me he's getting some misfires as well when going WOT at 3000~3500. Hopefully it's nothing serious that quick retune wouldn't fix. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (7) | wow man, that is almost exactly what im looking for, numbers, set up, etc... great job... ive heard nothing but good things about agile... and i think perhaps the advantage of RIM might be intake temps rather than spool... because of the shorter route to heat soak ... just a thought... either way its BA. |

| Spec C Club | Thanks I'm now thinking about wrapping the pipes with gold foil to help lowering intake temps even further. The misfiring is gone now... it was just a popped IC pipe. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
