| Lurker | hey man I love stis and I'm wondering how much you pay for insurance? cause I know I can get a job 20-30 hours a week and pay for a STI but I doubt they will insure me as basically a new driver with an STI.. I'm 18 btw would be kinda a deal with me and my parents I pay for car they get insurance but I think it would be sky high |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | If you are parting anything out please send me a PM and let me know! I've got almost all brand new stock parts on my car (Turbo, exhaust, injectors... basiclly everything) so obviously you could put those parts on your car and sell it like that... |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Oh, and... for a new car. Since you seem to have a limitless supply of money and you're asking $31k for your car i would get either a 135i or a 335i. If you think a flat4 makes good power wait til you drive a straight 6! Simple mods go a LONG way on them too since they're conservative from the factory. Plus, it's a BMW. I was originally going to get a 135i but went with the STi because insurance was WAY cheaper. Plus AWD is nice in MI, especially since I do a lot of snowboarding and some of the resorts i go to aren't exactly right off the highway. lol Thought about the 335xi but i'm a full time student as well so i didn't want to put such a strain on my finacials... |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | ya thats what im aiming for. but i think 36 out the door wont ever happen, this is 36500 without tax and title, i think 38-39 out the door would be a good deal that i can settle on. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2006 Trader Rating: (15) | did you sell your other car yet... pm me if you plan on part it out. BTW id say its fair if you at 38 OTD there are people on here who are paying 40 otd. but remember to check around dealership see if you can get a print out and bring it to other dealer and see if they can beat the price. |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | You're in a fairly populated area. There are plenty of other people in the market for that car. The dealership isn't gunna bend over and take one in the ass just because you're pushy and already own and older STi. If you get it under 38k otd then you're in REAL good shape. I say go for it. Did you think about parting your car out yet? That GT35r would look BEAUTIFUL under my hood. I get a bonus check this month. Should be over $1000. Plus i FINALLY got my raise on my checks so now i have a couple extra hundred bucks to spend each week on misc. things. in my case... MODS! haha |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Alright so ive decided to keep the car, i have 3,300 to spend on it since i was saving to get an Evo X but now i guess ill just drop it in the car... I just ordered a Tein Flex kit with EDFC off a guy on nasioc so those will be on hopefully this weekend.. then ill head over to clint and tony to let them work their magic on it.. after that im gonna get all new tint seeing as how mine is effed and scratched, probably gonna go with 15 or 20%, ordering a pioneer avic f90 and hooking up the 12 inch kicker i have sitting at my house.. then JDM High Speed 2nd-6th gears will follow along with all new syncros.. and in the summer for graduation i think im gonna pull it back out, sleeve it and throw a t4z 88HTA on it and make like 550 on pump.. hopefully.. so stay tuned |
