Just installed theses spats.. it was a PITA to get those damn mud flaps off.. i went through 10 dremel blades because the screws were rusted and stripped.. but also traded for some 07 tails with these cool bright white lights, ill have to get some night pics up later.





Also, painted the headlight housings black, i think i wanna go for a blue/black color scheme

Have you found out about that intercooler yet? I have an '04 as well and my intercooler is quite a bit bigger. About 4" wider.

Oh yeah, your front under tray seems as though it is missing. Did you take it off?

Otherwise nice car.

i have no idea what kind of intercooler it is.. my guess is an 04, but apparently not.. so idk

Just got these in the mail:


installed the spark plugs, but didnt get around to compression testing the engine.

also, just bought a tactrix cable, g200 and some kartboy exhaust hangers

so this showed up at my door on Thursday:



bad news is that it wont fit with my current turbo xs down pipe and cat, so i just ordered a cat back converter, which is basically a test pipe, so now im catless that comes on tuesday, so ill keep you updated

almost 2 months since ive updated this, heres the most recent pic i have of it, i put the 04 tails back on it, painted the wheels black for winter and did a few things under the hood, ill get some more pics later.. got some carbon fiber items on the way as well



saving up now to go rotated with a perrin gt35r kit, gonna pick up a used accesport before then, but I'm gonna run it on stock block until i can buy the parts and afford labor, should be up and runnin with the 35r by the end of February. ill keep you guys updated

so i havent been on this in forever, theres been a few changes in my setup.. i installed everything myself, took probably a whole day.. runs good now on wastegate boost

is it just me or does that turbo above the one installed look like a tdo4??? Maybe the original owner had an aftermarket turbo and took it off and replaced your parts with wrx peices, hence expaining the wrx intercooler (no red sti symbol).

okay so heres the plan, im building the motor right now because i spun a bearing last monday, here are the plans for it:

cp pistons (.20 overbore)
cp rings
helix rods
coated race bearings
kelford 272 cams
kelford springs
stock valves
intake and exhaust valve port & polish
arp head studs and cometic head gasket
cosworth oil pump

also doing a reverse intake manifold setup with a blow through MAF and the new TiAL Q bov. Im gonna re rout the hot side intercooler pipe either below the manifold or under the intake and into the fender, im not sure yet, probably whatever is easier. gonna be put to the ground with a sprung 6 puck act clutch..

Future plans include a hydra ecu and a aquamist HSF-1 meth injection kit.. gonna take a roadtrip and get it tuned by Al at dynoflash so its gonna be a pretty sick setup when its done.. im pretty excited about it
