| Professional STI Racer Car: 07 OBP/Gold STi Fav Mod: DomTune & MD Whisper Location: NW, Washington Posts: 796
IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2007 Trader Rating: (2) | Well I guess I'll finally make one of these. I bought my STi new in mid June of 07. Had my local dealer order it for me, it was one of the last black 07s in WA. I just got out of school in March and landed a good job so I figured I would get myself my dream car for a present. It was going to be either the EVO or STi. Ended up with the STi because of the looks (less boy racer), the boxter sound, the slightly better practicality and reliability, and last but not least I feel it has more potential (ie, not stock) in the handling category (I could be wrong though). So far I'm 99% stock but I will soon be buying an AP to cure the 07 ECU issues (I hope at least). After that I plan on going stage 2 with a catted DP and a exhaust. I'm looking for something quiet but also lets the beautiful boxer sound out when you get on it. So far I'm thinking a Maddad whisper, but feel free to chime in with suggestion. I have a 88 Integra as a DD (have had it since I was 16, am 23 now and honestly can't let it go for some reason) but I don't drive it much anymore because of the STi .All I can say is that I'm addicted to this car. It already has 2500+ miles on it and I only have to drive 2 miles to work everyday (although I have been taking the really really really long way so I can drive more). A couple weeks ago I bought and mounted some gold BBS's. I have always loved the black on gold look. Here are the pics, first before the gold wheels then after.
