hows the 30r now?

i put down identical numbers to you on pump gas 19psi with my 30r. My car has always had "lower" numbers than most too. Doesn't really matter, its fun, it's fast, it's mine.

The car is great! running strong and still throws me back in my seat. I'm surprised at the ability of the smaller .63a/r hotside.

I'm still looking into getting a clutch and meth and get about 400whp until I'm ready for a 35R build.

it's funny how many people switch from 30r to 35r.

lag is overrated! I gotta say, i was scared of "lag" by all the internetz fanboi's.......but once I drove my 30r....I was like: "that's it!!?" lolz.

time for a 35r

I don't mind being asked about my friends car..lol. He has a 2.4" Fp Green set up with an APS 525 FMIC. I chose the SSAC FMIC because it fit my budget as a college student .

On my Stage 2 set up I would get 20psi @3200rpm and now on the 30R .63 I get 20psi @3500 rpm...didn't sacrifice much if you ask me.

Honestly the 30R impressed me on the way it provides power on the street. I expected a little more power on paper, but numbers are numbers. I would like to go 35R within the next couple years, but it all depends on if I can handle being ready for a build if necessary. I'll let time determine that and not sweat it for the time being. I will try Meth first with the 30R and see if it satisfies my power hunger...lol....I could always incorporate it with a 35R later down the road as well.

lol...yeah Cali is a little more strict on the laws than over here in CT, but CT still sucks with laws and regulations.... no emissions test until 2010 FTW!!! lol.

full boost on the 30r was right at 4k. (24 psi).

full boost on the 35r is really unknown to me...imma guess 4300 (25psi). I know I can hit 20psi by 4166rpms.
