in my mind, either a really wide and low gt wing (sort of like the looking fd), or a s203 wing would set the car off very nicely. but i'd say wheels first. the car's coming along nicely. BTW: you should NOT do the Advan RS. Your car needs a simpler design to really let the carbon accents show. If you don't mind -3 or more camber, rolling/pulling the fenders and stretching a 235/40, I'd suggest 9.5 +14 TCII's if you want 17's or 10 +25. Keep in mind with those sizes you must make the car work around the wheel. Or if you are less daring they have those wheels with an extra 10mm (9.5 +24 and 10 +35) which will still have the GTR face.

btw: do you still have the oem roof vane?

Hey Earl, thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking about the s203 wing actually but I think I got enough stuff going on for now. Im trying to work on some little stuff right now like tint and black out headlight. I going to snap back on the factory roof vane tomorrow and see how I like it. I did the roof vane, took the sti wing off, sideskirt and jdm visor on the same day friday so I got no time to to test around different combo.

About the wheels. I already ordered it 2 months ago. So I guess we will see if I dont like it I can always get a new set. This will be my first set of after market wheel .. I dont even know if it will be too wide or not.

18x10 +35 rt615 265s/35 this is what im going for atm. any thoughts?

I will sell either one of the roof vane for sure but I dont know which one yet. My white car is not best for this chargespeed roof vane I might let it go cause I want people focus on my bottom line. Not on top of my car.

IDK alot of people are hating on the CS roof vane haha cause of my white car I guess. The only thing I really like right now is actually no roof vane. I'm thinking my brains out to make it work. I really love the voltex and I'm trying to work around that piece and is not easy. Is missing something but I just dont know what it is.

Going to gray the headlight to look like the JDM headlight. Getting a tint too but I dont think that will help much. Best bet right now is factory vane + the voltex wing delete to complete the look. I want a clean car. My wheels are coming in hopefully that will help too.

If I do mind lip I will mold it to the trunk and might as well take off the vane and mold the holes lol.. but that cost me ALOT but that will work and will be super clean. I think.

Yah I def think that the Mines CF lip would be an awesome touch. Hmmm, why not get the CF side pieces and the CF roof vane. That would match up. I think that Chargespeed piece is too "large" yah know? Since your doing all that work on the trunk, might want to also think of debaging that Subaru emblem in the middle. That has 2 holes, might as well I guess. Also, you ever think of tinting the rear tails? Maybe the top part only? That could aid with the effect your trying to do. Just some thoughts.

the CF roof vane is big when the car is wingless.
if you don't have a trunk spoiler it looks unbalanced.
throw the sti wing back on.. it will look better with the chargespeed roof vane.

Thanks for the input guys. I took note of them. For now I will stop for exterior mod for little. I going up to Norcal to get a tune from Ed @ Eq tuning. So I gona start work on some power mods for that tune. Also gona go up to Mach 3 to get my fender works & alignment done up there too.

So lets talk about power. This is the zone that I have no idea. So far I didnt talk to Ed yet and I'm trying to. I will get a meth kit installed to go up there for sure and I want to know if there are anything else I should add before the tune. Keep in mind that I will upgrade my turbo later so I dont want anything I have to resell later. So it will be nice if you guys can give me a hand here to have a good start.

-Meth kit for sure
-Boost solenoid
-Injectors (I will ask Ed about this one)
-What else to add?

this is my spec
07 STi
-AP Stage 2
-Invidia V3 catless Downpipe
-Invidia G200
-K&N Typhoon Short Ram.
-Walbro Fuel Pump.
-NGK plugs

That list sounds good so far. Maybe throw on a header/uppipe for more powa! Just make sure that you don't buy a header/uppipe combo that fits the stock location and then go rotated as you will need a new uppipe. The Gruppe-S is pretty affordable and you can purchase it w/o an uppipe if you want to go rotated.

On another note, I don't like the Chargespeed roof vane either. It is too big without some sort of wing on the trunk.

Hey Alex, Thanks for the advice. Okay cause I'm not sure what I want for turbo but I do think it is going to be either gt30 or 35r so it going to be rotated. Hmm I might want to do this pretty decent price with out the uppipe. Still got the rumble sound. I wront have to worry about this if I go gt30 right?

the majority of the rotated 30 kits are useable w/ the OEM unequal length headers.... Perrin has a kit, but i heard fitment is crappy or VERY tight.... after i figure out what im doing w/ my current mod situation, ill be saving up for the Crawford Performance 30R kit, good fitment, good kit from what i've seen and heard.... Talk to modaddict about 30/35R since he has had both. Flycaster i believe is also using a Perrin 30R....

Price list, pretty good one too (insert your own prices where it applies)
Planning a turbo build? This is the price breakdown. Full-Race, APS, UR, Perrin, ET.

This is a list of threads that are very helpfull when choosing / researching a turbo upgrade
Popular Engine, Power & Performance Stickies

and this is the specific link i went to when researching my 30R decision
The GT30R and GT35R rotated turbo thread. Click to know everything 30R/35R.

Like i said, contact some other people who already have a 30 / 35R and get some feedback from them Modaddict has been MORE than helpful when it has come to my research, and i plan on referencing ALOT from him when it comes to buying my kit

Not a problem. If you ever have a question feel free to ask, if i can answer it, i might know where to find the info or someone who does
I suggest reading the Perrin vs. Crawford thread because it's modaddict's comparison thread.... also check out his journal.... good view on how the Perrin kit, for the money, will get the job done. But for an awesome kit w/ no fitment issues and top quality items that come heat coated etc.... Crawford is the way to go... i read and read, then asked questions, and surfed crawford's and perrin's sites and decided i liked the CP kit better... little more spendy, but easily worth it to me
