i would get a tune before suspention mods, but before i want to get tuned i want to get a whole bunch of parts to compliment that tune such as: aps 70mm intake, prodrive bcs, walbro 255, aps or tial bov (dont flame....my tuner suggested it), external tial 44mm wastegate....you got the point, but right now i think im going to be doing the suspention aspect of it since my car is way high off the ground and dives/lifts like a monster truck...and since the ots v. 103 cobb maps seem to be pretty safe......check the auto-x pictures if you dont believe me......but i will take your suggestion into consideration, and research what is a good idea to do first....

Nice Ltd I love the APS exhaust, that big of exhaust really shows off the lack of catted DP. PURRRS like a lion.

yeah IMHO i think that the aps R1 is the perfect system for the car........the only other system i would buy is the Full Titanium ARC system that is upwards of 3 grand and nearly unobtainable.......and honestly do you think it'll make more power...i think no!

Alright guys haven't updated my journal in a while with any new parts or anything for one main reason. I'll be going to SEMA in the upcomming month, so i'll be checking out the latest and greatest new parts, therfore i'm holding off buying anything until then....However, I did take the oppurtunity today to get the car tinted, which was something i've been wanting to do for a while now, and few weeks ago i did have the chance to get my Walbro 255 installed....Anyways, here are some pictures and notes from the Walbro Install as well as the window tint pictures and fixing the jacking points that got bent by the dealership....

Walbro 255 Install notes:
Install went relatively easy, and I followed cezarnecki's install how-to, however i did find some flaws in his write-up. Number one, first of all when you detach the high pressure fuel line you can avoid mass gasoline spillage if you take the line off, let some pressure bleed off then clip the line back in, doing this several times will lead to less mess and spillage. also, this will not make the gas spray everywhere if you were just to pull the line off and not bleed pressure in incriments. Number two and the biggest flaw saw in his write up is the way the new high pressure fuel line was connected between the pump and the diaphram, he suggest that you cut a tiny piece of hose put the pump in the bottom rear stay and the slide the hose over the pump, as shown in this picture:

however, IMHO this is the improper way of doing it.....you should instead cut the new fuel line to the same size as stock, and push the fuel pump and diaphram into the line then slightly bend the bottom to accomodate the new pumps rubber stay....regardless of my advice, the car runs great and i think that the pump is great *cheap* insurance for you car......

Window Tint Notes:
I got my window tinted from Nino at Umbra window tinting. He used the Sun-Tek film which he told me he has been using for 5 years with no complaints, and he says is far superior to the 3m Film. He did a great job with the car doing all door windows, the rear glass and the Sun-roof. He is also IMO resonalbly priced at 180$ for the whole car. i recomend him to anyone who wants thier car to get tinted locally. Also, i think the car is more comfortable to ride in now due to the car reflecting all the heat that used to come into the car. Also, on a side note he used a computer controlled 6' wide plotter that cut out the window tints perfectly and is sweet to watch in action.

Fixing Jacking Points Notes:
I've noticed that the jacking points got a little out of whack after i took my car to get my brake pads replaced, so i decided to fix them. after a little research on here i found that most people use vise grips to bend them back, but i went a step further after that. After i bent them back into a straight seam, i scuffed the undercoating and gave it a fresh coat, personally now the jacking points look better now, than when it left the factory.

lol I'm just kidding around... UGB = U gay bro and UBGB = U busy gay bro

35% is generally the lightest people go right? Do you think it's light enough that cops will leave you alone?

I'm betting you got some deep dark limo tint for the 'Slade

actualy Nino had 55% tint that was virtually clear, 35% is percieved as the good mid-range between dark and light...and i think that especially the cops will leave you alone......im wingless.....however, its a different story though when it comes to the escalade and bimmer, i get hassled all the time in them just because its a lot of bling and they look for anything to pull you over. but the bimmer has about a 10% tint ( right between limo and 20% ) and the escalade is tintless for now, but the old one had 30% on it and got hassled with it all the time......

Ya I definitely won't get tinted before I go wingless... I figure black & gold with a wing is bad enough now, I don't need to give them more excuses. I do like the look tinted though.

I'll have to see how dark your tint is at the next meet
