Hi guys, picked up the STi a couple weeks ago, just signed up for the board. Here it is pictured with my S2000. Needless to say I love it, an absolute blast to drive, but in a totally different way than the S2000.

Thanks, yes it is lightly modified, there are no bolt-ons that make any real performance gain short of the Supercharger kits by Comptech and Vortech. This is great to see intakes/exhausts/headers actually making real gains on the STi. Half of the stuff out for the S2000 doesn't make any gains, and cost an arm and leg.

oh man, I hate you!, j\k. That is a sweet looking S2000. Both of those cars are sweet! Which one do you prefer to drive?

Thanks.

As for preferences, for a daily driver, in traffic and stuff I take the STi anyday. It has the passing power, more comfortable, and just overall easier to drive. I love how the power is there on demand and there is pretty much no need to downshift to accelerate.

But I have to say the S2000 is slightly more "fun" to drive. Th go-kart feel, open-top, RWD, 9k redline all play in to that. So for a joy ride on some curvy roads I would choose the S2000, but it is a pain to drive daily in traffic. It is just hard to take advantage of its power when you can't really wind it out.

Thanks! But which one is the beauty? BTW, I used to have a Nighthawk Black RSX-S, loved that car until some old man pulled his Buick out in front of me going 50mph.

Hahaha. I say the same thing about the 350Z. Dumped mine for the STi. Big Honda fan here too. Got a little '03 Si as my daily driver. Would've been in an S2K a long time ago if they made a true coupe. Don't do the ragtop thing. That and the steering wheel that doesn't move. I don't fit right in the S2K.

Yeah it can be a challenge to squeeze into if you are taller. It fits me like a glove. Here in Florida, you gotta have the ragtop to tag advantage of the weather. Plus, hardtops are available. Supposedly the '04's have more elbow room, who knows....
