Nice! Seat and harness look perfect. You have the harness mounted to the rear seatbelt locations? Are you planning on adding a harness bar to help the angle? Props on the Beatrush underpanel and you will be quite happy with the camera mount. Works great for the money.

Thanks for the compliment. I do plan on getting a roll bar eventually, but for the time being I feel very safe with the set-up as is, despite what the majority of people say.

Default Re: beatrush, TiC, kartboy, and a lot more going on!

Did a ton of work on the car all last weekend, as you can see.

First I installed the TiC super shifter set, which includes the Kartboy short shift lever, TiC pivot bushings, front stay, rear stay, and linkage bushings. This is by far the craziest and best mod that I've done. The difference is night and day - I dont know how I stood the stocker for as long as I did...

Then I installed the TiC transmission crossmember bushings. These really transfer a lot more tranny noise into the cabin, which I like. I can't really tell you exactly what these did, since I did everything at once...but I do like them for the money I spent. Look farther down at the pic of my underpanel to see these cherry blossom red bushings lol

Followed that up by re-taping my oil pan with reflective tape, due to the fact that it is right next to the exhaust manifold. After doing this, I honestly did notice a difference in normal running temps. It couldn't do anything but help - plus it's a nice cheap mod.

Then I wrapped and coated my downpipe (before and after cat), and coated my heatshield. I also notice a difference in engine bay temps when I open the hood after driving around town. I've been meaning to do this for a while now...glad I finally did.

The next thing I did was intall my Beatrush underpanel. This thing is AWESOME! I absolutely love it. It increases downforce (havent been fast enough to test this claim), reduces engine bay temps, and is much easier to remove than the stock panel for oil changes and such.

I'll have to get some installed pics...sry

Finished everything up by dropping the exhaust, polishing the muffler, and replacing the stock "bubble gum" exhaust hangers with the Kartboy poly standard length ones. The exhaust doesn't have that nasty shake anymore when I rev it

Also got a new wide angle Broadway rearview mirror which makes daily driving a lot easier. And got a HKS turbo timer harness for my Apex'i turbo timer (dont flame me, bro )

A nice long day of wrenching on the car. Sweet! That exhaust looks so shiny now! I would hate to drive it after polishing.

Default Re: AMG DESTROYER's Journal (update: 8/26)

Picked up a Whiteline 24mm adjustable rear sway and Kartboy endlinks from Parker the other day. Just finished installing them and took it for a quick test drive around my neighborhood. There is MUCH less body roll. It feels much more neutral around turns and planted the whole way through. I have yet to "explore" more with it, but that will come

I also ordered a 160* T-stat and 1.4 bar radiator cap from Crucial Racing - those should be here soon. I will be doing a radiator flush and coolant change at that point.

Also received a shipment of Motul rear diff and tranny fluid that I will be putting in soon

The final update is that project black interior has begun. I got some Plasti-dip from Lowes and have started taking out some gray interior pieces for a cleaning and paint. The plan at this point is to paint all gray pieces black, get black carpet/door cards, and paint the headliner black with Duplicolor fabric paint I'm hoping everything goes according to plan...

I did Motul for front and rear and i absolutely think it is way better then factory crap. Feels like I put in a shift kit or something, it is so much smoother now. I seldom ever had any 4th gear problems and since I changed the fluid I have not had any problems shifting in any gear even 1st when cold

Car looks good, and all those new pieces will pay off in the end
