Shortly after buying the car, I ordered a set of Super Advan Racing version 2 in metalic blue for my car. Since they were coming from Japan, i could expect a four month wait. So after having waited over four months the wife and I went on a little trip to the southwest.

Sorry for the thumbnails, everytime I try to upload an image from the hosting site it comes up invalid. Anyway, I got to ride a 1 horsepower STi down into Canyon de Chelly.

Well....lets' see the ADVANS on the car. Interesting pics. When we went to the southwest all we did was look for peyote

2300 miles on my Subie, let me tell you the back highways through the mountains were FUN to say the least. Would have been funner if I knew the road was closed and had it all to myself, but even so the STi clung to the road and down shifting through the tight 25mph curves was a religious experience. But there was a price to pay....

The tint on the sides is state legal for my area, it was like that on the dealer floor. And the Advan pics are coming up. I have heard that the cops in my neck of the woods have stopped ticketing for excessive tint, I am thinking about going darker.

The first evening of our trip I get the news from our kids that my wheels have arrived, to say the least I wanted to turn right around to see them but I waited until getting home.

So it was off to the car wash, then back home for a handwashing, then off to the nearest Firestone to get my wheels put on.

lookin good, but i dont think im feelin those rims, i dont think the blue matches anything, but to each is own...

Ehhh....not feeling the wheels. 3 spoke wheels just feel dated to me. And I don't think the color goes well with your color. Maybe black could pull it off, but not CGM.
