I havent really driven at high speed yet in 4th and 5th but i will bet its just as fun if not more fun than the lower gears. Springs go on next and I'll be good for a while til i save up some more mod cash.
It has begun! You have been bitten, it only gets worse from here! Hot car BTW

I just installed my RCE yellow's and they feel GREAT!! I'm getting an alignment on monday or tuesday. and I cant wait to be done with this stage of my modding. The car looks ok for now. I gotta be patient until it settles, but the install was a piece of cake, took about 4 hours by myself with my brother just giving me a hand when i needed a his weight on the hub to align the strut bolts but that was it. Good old elbow grease and some tools. No power tools either... The car needed a drop desperately i couldnt stand seeing all that wheel gap in the front. the RCE's are definately a quality spring. I highly recommend them to anyone who hasnt purchased a drop spring. the ride is ten times smoother than stock and it handles amazing. Braking and Accelerating is alot more stable and the front of the car doesnt dive or raise up as much when launching or braking hard. it feels alot more level and body roll has decreased drastically.

Yea it definately settled a bit after I took a long drive and took it through some twisties... Thanx

And as for calling you I swear I thought about you when i was on my way up there but it was 9pm and it was getting dark fast, i was racing against the sun set. I had a long day today, I did the intake silencer mod and then i did some cleaning up around the house. Then I proceeded to wash every one of my family members cars. a total of 4 not including my own. so after i was done with all the washing it was late and i was in a rush to get up there and take some comparison pics before it got to dark but I must say my point and shoot sony cyber shot did pretty well. I set it down on the wall and put the 10 second timer on so it was completely still when the shot was taken. plus it has a cool twilight setting for night shots. But If you ever wanna go up there anytime just give me a call I will be there waiting for you. its right up the hill from me.

Yea I realized that yesterday when i was updating my members journal. I started thinkin about how ive done so much since i got the car a little over a month ago. But thats just because this is whats gonna make me be more comfortable with the car. I know that theres will be a huge gap before my next major mod. this stuff was on my agenda when i first bought the car cuz they are the most important to me right now. driveability, I like a car that handles well and feels stable. plus i like a tighter driveline (hence the bushings i got) and as for visual Im into the stock sleeper look so thats why i debadged, tinted and soon ill have the lights done. (hint hint, lol).

Haha Jay, I was just about to say what's with the Cesar style sig! Looks good though, I have a sony cyber shot as well. Camera takes very good pictures for being the good ole' point n' click camera it is. The RCE's look very good by the way. Nice shots too if I don't say so myself.

Thanx Mike... I know the sig does look alot like what ceasar does with his sig representing lightwerkz and all... but it happened accidentally I swear. I just loved the pic and i had to crop it in a way to get all the beauty out of it. I hope that style isnt patented...

w0w!!!

So to clarify you do not have lowering camber plates as well just the yellow springs?!

I really didn't think it dropped the front that low... That looks hot. I ordered the yellow springs with the non lowering camber plates... and was second guessing that the springs didn't lower that much but I am actually pleasanlty surprised at your pictures and very excited now!

Can you do me a favor... what is the wheel gap/finger ratio...

I think stock front is around 4 fingers and back is around 3... what is it now for ya?

Thanks!
-Nigel
