so ive been noticing over the past few days that my oil temps are about 5-10 degrees (celsius) higher than normal... the water temps remain around 90 C.. while the oil sits around 95-100 C... it normally sits around 90C with the water temp... any ideas on what could be causing this? i tried with AC on and off... still high...im thinking it may just be time for an oil change...

got bored... decided to update the journal...

car has about 42600 miles on it.... been getting decent milage lately... 21-22mpg... although ive been noticing an oil smell when coming up to red lights and such... im assuming its just normal PCV because the oil level hasnt gone down at all.

im hoping to get some new brakes on the car soon... depends on the money situation tho...

ok so i found a sollution for my subwoofer sliding/flipping around issue... at the recommendation of my buddy with the white evo 9... we bungie corded it to the seat support bars ... it hasnt moved much since... although it now fires forward into the cab so the sound isnt as good as it was previously... ill take it considering tho.

upcoming "projects" on the car:
- replace OE rotors (45k+ miles) with brand new DBA 4000 6x6 wiper slotted rotors
- replace Motul RBF600 brake fluid with ATE super blue
- replace OE brembo pads with Carbotech Bobcats
- switch out silver bbs/blizzak combo for gold bbs/re01r combo, thorough cleaning of both sets included
- full interior detail (ive been slacking on this), including shampooing mats and cleaning headliner
- turbo timer install (rice i know, but i cant seem to sell the thing so i might as well install it)
- in-cabin air filter swap (backordered, will install when i have it)
- add a few coats of wax (not sure what kind yet)

haha i hope so... am i allowed to say where i got em?

also, the front drivers side caliper is going to be a PITA im sure. last time i had it off, the ****ing thing stripped out and i had to retap it.... and the bolt is now using a bunch of washers... so im going to need to pull it out and find a shorter bolt.
