Default Boony's Motown STi - New pics post 666! New mod post 757!

So, as some know, I picked up my WRB GDF-F/Gold on 15 November, 2006. I drove it off the lot with barely 17 miles on it.

About a month later, I took off back home to the Deep South, to Montgomery, AL, where I used to live. The weather was warm, but I did get out to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival to take a quick, mildly rainy pic.

While I was home, I also motored down Hwy 82 to my alma mater, the University of Alabama.First, i stopped at a tailgater's landmark, Jim's kick-ass Pit BBQ just a few miles from my grandparents' house.

Roll Tide, etc. The sign is in the end zone at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Recently, I've been on a washing binge since the weather's been nice. I snapped this shot about two weeks ago. Little did I know that my search for a WRX trunk was nearly over.

And today, I washed it up with the recently acquired trunk (and debadged it) and applied some Zaino. The paint got too hot to put a second coat on. I'll keep folks posted on how well one coat holds up.

Mods to date: RallyArmor, DIY DRL disable, DIY seatbelt ding disable, Prodrive GC-06H 17x8.5 +51, WRX trunk & paint Seibon CF wing, trunk monkey, debadge, X-Brace, Holy Shift bushings, COBB short shifter, cleared/painted headlights with rally rings , Pioneer AVIC-Z2, Brasco brand dead pedal, WC Lathe Werkz STi Piston Shift knob, TiC SST coilovers (7k/5k), Whiteline adjustable sways, Kartboy Endlinks, Vorshlag Camber Plates (front and rear)

WAITING TO INSTALL: Brasco brand fender cowl braces, Kartboy rear subframe outrigger bushings

Thanks all.

I have the WRX wing right now, and no, I'm not fond of it. It is, however, a means to an end:

LaMer already has this one, but it's in the paint shop from Hell apparently. This is what will be going on the trunk at some point, and yes, I will have it painted WRB as I think CF on blue is a tad rice. Just my opinion. Plus, I want it to look stock.

I'm praying that my wheels come this week. And my lug nuts.

I would have never seen this if I hadn't been told about it or linked to it... I don't get enough time to browse New Posts as much these days

Looks good, that post-Zaino shot almost looks like BMW's Laguna Seca Blue as opposed to WRB

You forgot your other mod-to-date: destickered.

The camera sucks. The guy behind the camera sucks. The only PhotoShop work I had the time (or energy) to perform was to add a copyright bug. I didn't have time to do color.

Yeah, gotta add the debadge. Doesn't feel like a mod. I've done it twice now.
