Yeah... see we have those roads around here (plenty) and instead of feeling bounce, I now feel more squat/diminished motion, and some harder bumps due to the metal camber plates (I paid close attention last weekend since Garry asked last week).

I think both of you can expect a reduction with just springs - but since you twins are looking at strut/spring combos, I think it should help even further.

I'm about three months behind Garry on my mod path. Apparently, it's practically the same path.

Your new wing looks awesome on your car. IMO that's how it should have come stock.
Also, very interesting test you did on the bobblehead issue. Good to know

the suspension bobble hides the seat bobble.

i was ok with the double bobble almost.

but the bobble in the seat i have now is almost sickening...

maybe i'm too light for the springs in the seat or something but i feel like i'm on a trampoline sometimes

I wonder how the Seibon wing will hold up to a Michigan winter?

Why wouldn't it hold up to the winter? CF shouldn't warp in the cold, I'd think...

Ya, I don't know enough about the properties of carbon.

I would imagine it would be just fine. Especially painted (extra protection).

The only 'issue' could be the holes in the bottom of the horizontal piece. You might want to plug them up . I'm sure they're there for a reason though (relieve moisture).

With what? Also, I've been meaning to ask you: did your wing's pre-drilled mounting holes line up properly? Mine is a tad crooked. I've got a tap wrench. I'm going to dril and tap new holes in it at some point in the near future.

Well, remember I was stupid and drilled holes to the POS S202 rep I had. The Seibon came in, and didn't line up. I then drilled holes for the Seibon (). I measured the wing to the car to get it square, rather than measure the holes to get it square.

Nothing like taking a drill to a $1000 carbon fiber monster sports lid eh G?

I see. Oh well. I'm guessing there's no secret handshake as far as drilling/tapping CF, huh?

The issue with that is that there is a nut behind the CF at the original mounting holes. I'm not sure how you would get a new nut on the back of your new holes . I don't think a bolt is going to thread into the CF.
