I like the new wing, but question. I see that you went from STI wing to WRX wing and now to this. I also read on the first page that you werent to fond of the WRX wing. So I have to ask, why the change from the STI wing in the first place?!

The WRX wing holes are used for his new Seibon wing. He swapped lids with this end goal in mind.

Easy when you have a special lumbar pillow and don't get tired of the bounce in the seat

I did a bit of self-test on the bobblehead effect. There are a few long bridges with seamed spans between MI and AL. I decided I wanted to know where the effect really came from.

So, when I got to the bridge, I stood up - kinda. I placed my feet on the dead pedal (cruise control helps) and lifted my requisite wide American ass from the much-maligned seat (using the seat back as a brace). I figure if the bobblehead really is a function of the seat-bottom, I'd be able to tell with this experiment.

RESULT: There's a lot of bobblehead coming from the suspension. It's got to be half. Another bit of anecdotal evidence: when driving these bridges at night, I could see where the HID projection line was on the bridge rail, and it bounced some as well.

I think a lot of the bobblehead effect can be attributed to the suspension. Whether or not it can be removed is another matter.

Yeah, that's what people said - and I tend to agree from my experience post spring install - that the suspension will reduce it, and that the remaining bounce is from the seat.

Here's hoping that the 08 STi comes with nice front chairs that are plug & play in the GDF, and here's hoping that I can afford it

That's a pretty smart test you came up with. Simple, but works perfect!

We have a bridge down here in SoCalexico that is very similar. Except, it will throw me out of the seat with each bump. I would say ~2-3 inches out of the seat . It's like an amusement park ride.
