It's actually bamboo. My decor is a mishmash of broke bachelor, Asian, and antique cherrywood. And treadmill. And lat file.

Aw Hell, I have no decor. I have **** in a room.

so it wasn't stolen after all .

It would be interesting to see it painted. I've seen a CF hood painted before, but not the spoiler. The painted CF hood that I saw was really bad though. I guess the owner had gone to a normal shop, not a specialist CF paint shop.

nice bamboo mat boonie. is that jdm?

No, I was not required to put on my vigilante costume and spray the neighborhood with my SAW.

That's why I'm looking for someone who's done it before. CF ≠ easy to paint.

Maybe auto europe has a body shop that you could take it to and while you're there, try not to drool over the lotuses too much

Actually, it was some place called Livonia Motorsport or something. The card is in the car. They apparently have a great deal of experience painting CF. Of the ~20 places I called, they were the only place that wasn't of painting CF. Even the place Auto Europe recommended, though a wonderful body shop according to my sources, was hesitant to paint it.

The trick is, their paint shop is in Inkster by the airport, and they're open 7a - 4p. I had to get my ass out of bed EARLY this morning and drive it over there. FTL!

He said it'd be about a week. My impatient ears heard "Maybe Monday?" He didn't SAY that, but I heard it. I'll let you all know when it's done (with pics of course).

You're all the way down there? **** son, how the Hell do you find the energy to make it all the way to Novi?

Thanks for the offer, but I'll pick it up myself. I want to give it the evil eye and make sure everything is acceptable as far as the paint job. Plus, I haven't paid for the work yet.
