also, going to order an aps 65mm CAI, and get the k&n filter + prefilter off amazon. my setup is gonna be loud! haha

I got HKS but doesnt matter what you say to people they still gona hate on you. They wront try to read either. Mine is 100 recirculated. I got some pictures if you want them. Works fine but not loud cause it is recirculated.

update:

after driving to 99's, the car runs like ass lol. it feels like its falling on its face when you shift, and it stalled once. also threw a CEL. gonna reset the ecu and give it one more day.

i guess i was wrong, although it does sound sick haha

recirculated them. I can still hear it with my Catless and G200 but just not as loud as blowing off. I never had any code or stall

Hey do you have the SSQV with the screw on the back? That 1 usually gives problems.

That is the "good" HKS SSQV old style, I have the same one and never had any stalling, CEL's or bogging with it. Did you purchase your SSQV new or used? Mines was new when I installed it, from your picture it looks like the the cover was removed to install another fin. Make sure all the allen screws are on tight and make sure the vac line on the bov is hooked up to your engines vac line properly. I don't understand why your HKS is giving you so much trouble.

Just make sure the vac line is good and hooked up properly and do a ecu reset. BTW, you don't have to buy the new one. The reason there are 2 different ones is because some have hood clearance problems.
