yep I used the line and the clamp on the BOV. You made sure your running the black filter that goes in between the bov hose and engine vac hose right? Also are you getting any low RPM flutter or compressor surge? Drive the car but don't go into boost and listen if the bov is opening at all.

it does open at low rpm, when i was driving anyways before. no surge.

i just pulled apart the bov. does it need any lubrication or anything after a while?

No I don't think the bov needs any lubrication, I would just make sure the fin is in properly and the screws are tight that hold the cover on. Since it opens properly Im sure you had it connected right. Pretty weird situation, try resetting the ecu and let the car learn for a little bit before you go scaring little kid's and old people with the sound.

alright, i just put it back together, made sure all the allen things were veryyy tight, put it back on, double and triple checked all the vac lines. everything seems like it should be. just as it was on my aps bov. we will see in the morning i guess. unless anyone else has any input.

thanks for the help 06specc

no prob man, Good luck and I hope everything works how it should, no CEL's or stalling. A little driveability loss but an amazing sound.

yeah, the sound is sick. whats the worse driveability loss you can feel?
i noticed that it takes longer for rpm's to drop when you shift, due to rich state. things like that?

can NOT tune in a bov, because there is a MAF sensor AFTER the bov/bpv. i wish you could

thats also why it gives the rich state. it counts for the air getting blown off, and trys to mix fuel with it, causing it to run rich.

oic, that makes sense..
my bro has a LGT that is cobb stg 2. he put a 50recir/50atmosphere on and his car runs just like stock. (only louder). if youre in the going to search for a new one, check that out.
ill let you know how this Forge one works for me. Importimageonline says that it works great with the turbo xs topmount of stock.
i will post a full write-up as soon as i am driving my car again.

can someone clarify the sound level differences between the BOVs (open/closed/recirculation) to stock. cause i mean like, there'd be no point to having a full recirculatory that provides only the same sound as stock. (unless it can be adjusted just for those special moments you want to open it up). and the full open ones apparently are giving too many issues

full recirc = stock sounding

50/50 = louder than stock @ high boost - normal drivibility

full atmos. dump w/ hks ssqv = you will hear it soon. LOL! its loud as HELL.

when i was driving with my girlfriend, she was all pissy because it was "too loud". but i made her laugh by driving past someone jogging, spooled the turbo, let off the gas, and the guy ducked. ROFL

i will have WAY to much fun with this. also, it backfires like a mother.
