EWG for the win! Sound so badass haha but maybe thats all it does. I think is worth it cause make everything seem alot faster so loud. Have you see downsti car? He is with stock turbo, HKS carbon tI and 38mm EWG. He got an video if you want to hear it.

thats what im thinking only because right now i hold boost pretty good at stage 1.. well atleast my DEFI boost gauge is telling me so, and once i put on my DP and go stage 2 i dont want any problems. I rarely ever go WOT anyways but just to be on the safe side i would like to go EWG.... Also i got some tires to install soon too they have just been sitting here waiting for my RE070 to go bald...LOL

I just did the SPT one it mounts right to the I/C Bracket so you dont have to take the I/C Off to put it on which is a plus you know... I also covered it with Gold Foil.

This is a good heatshield. All you have to do is remove one IC bolt to install, I think the Cobb and Cusco require more work to install and do the same thing, but then again, you get the name .

The numbers go up, boost creep goes away, and the noise is the best. Once you get yours installed, sway the OP to get one! I have a TiAL 44mm on my stock turbo and absolutely love it!!

depending on who u buy it from about 700 or so for the tial 44. Maybe a hundred less for the 38. All you need for the ewg is the modified up pipe, the wastegate, and a dump tube and of course some gaskets

I got the Gimmspeed/Tial 38mm kit off Josh@ importimage. If you pm them they will give you a lower price than what they have on the website.

For me I got the Gimmspeed manifold/crosspipe as well since you know you got to work at that area anyway. You dont really need anything else to go with it other than the tune.

I didnt get a tune yet but been driving on low boost for few days (really short drive) no problem so far. waiting on my meth kit

Ya thats one of the reason why I got it cause of the IwG but idk if that really help those problem but just a piece of mind for me since I got the 07 and im having fuelcut overboost issue.

any prob with the 38mm tial? also how do you know what spring to get? i have heard mixed things the 38mm thats why i was leaning more towards the 44mm because of the v-band..also you dont have to remove the turbo correct, just unbolt the wastegate and put the bracket on instead and then just route the vaccuum line to the EWG correct...

Not sure having drive it hard yet. Problem I think is on the gasket saying it leak or something. I wouldnt tell since it is soooooo loud lol... my whole car should like a big ass leaking car anyway haha. I heard alot of good review on the gimmspeed kit tho. Also it is louder than 44mm.

My buddy have the UR 38mm saying is not that good. Leak also.

i heard alot of the tial 38s leak because theyre flange on flange. I got the tial 44 slowboyracing kit from josh at import image. I also got the crucial racing ported polished and coated manifolds. Aparently the coating process is better than the grimspeed but thats just what I was told. cant make any actual comment as to whether the coating is better or not.

well all in all, the EWG is on my list of things, first things i want to get are the mud flaps and the front lip and springs... then on to the EWG... just weighing my options right now.. i pay all in cash and all up front so it takes a lil while to gather up the dough....LOL
