| Spec C Club | well i finished, just in the nick of time... the place i was at closes at 4:30 and i started at 12:30 with no help of course, and i installed the fender braces and the springs, and what a pain in the A$$ to get those fender braces out...the hardest part was at the end when i put the wheels back on i lowered the car and backed out and noticed the rear end was super high.. i'm like WTF and i look underneath and the swaybar flipped because i took out the springs and the weight dropped it down enough to flip them.. so i had to beg the guy to let my use an impact gun again to get the wheels off and disconnect the endlinks and flip the sway bar back to the normal spot, then put the wheels back on and finally finish... its pretty rough by yourself.. but i got it done and replaced the bumpstops in the front struts and put in the tic fender braces and i should be putting in the X brace this week also.. pics coming shortly.. Oh and i painted the front lip satin black and drilled about 15 holes and put nuts and bolts holding it in place.. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| Spec C Club | well so far after only driving about 20 miles, the springs are stiffer but ride smoother than stock. and no i did not install the camber plates.. thats next on the list after the x brace install.. and the fender braces, well i havent gone too fast yet but so far the front end feels more connected, and hey its only 90 bucks and took about 30 min to install after the wheels were off and the struts were out.. ill get some pics up tomorrow.. |
