My most current UOA:

This sample was used German Castrol 0w/30. I had 6 autoxs and mostly city driving on it.

I had asked them if using a magnet on the filter or oil pan was worthwhile, that's what the last comment is about.

Interesting to compare yours to mine. RP definitely has a different formula than CS.

i agree.

I noticed that our sus and cSt visc is markedly different. this in a way supports the rumor that gc is closer to a 40wt. you don't list your oil weight but i assume its a 30wt.

Never could justify buying KB exhaust hangers until tuesday at the track day. I think the combination of the soft stock hangers, no flex section in the APS exhaust, Cusco motor and tranny mounts, and some hard track day driving overwhelmed the stock hanger on the right side. The exhaust slid off the hanger and rested against the left side of the muffler cutout of the bumper.

I ordered up some KB hangers on tuesday from TIC and received them on friday. THey'll be going on in addition to my Group N rear suspension bushings.

Some more pics of my melted bumper:

Blow torch took care of the melted plastic on the exhaust pipe. Just warmed it up and wiped it off.

Used a mini dovetail saw on the bumper to remove the melted section of bumper. You'd have to be looking for it to notice.

Nice journal snorky, glad I came across it! Have you had any peeling issues with your S204 dash? Mine keeps peeling in random places.

Thanks.

Haven't noticed any peeling yet. It does scratch quite easily though.

Is it perhaps what you clean your dash with?

Just picked this up today:

Overall, I'm impressed.

Core thickness is exactly 5 1/2" (the most important feature)

Welds are superb.

The Vanes in the IC are unique and kinda sexy. It looks like they would generate some turbulent flow which would optimize heat exchange process. I tried to capture them in a pic:

I already pulled my IC off to test fit it. Overall, it fits well. The stock IC seal looks like it will fit and not obscure any of the IC surface. THe hood does not come in contact with the IC.

The only complaint I have is that the Y pipe is going to have to be filed a little in order for it to bolt up. Not a huge deal. Overall, I am impressed.

This pic makes it look worse than it is because I have the other side bolted up. I will only have to file about 1mm off the outside of each bolt hole and it should line up. I'm not happy about it but its not a huge deal.
