How does the front stay get damaged like that? I assume it adds some play when it gets banged up...

you know how theres the slot on the left side of the mount that the bushing slides into? The sleeve got crushed in there. I torqued it to spec before anyone asks.

even the stock bushing has a wider face on the sleeve on that side so this doesn't happen.

Does it effect it in any way?

Is TiC aware of this problem?

i posted a thread about it when i discovered it iirc it was last year. I had to replace the bolt because the sleeve ate the threads as i tried to separate the two. I never noticed any ill effects.

Finally got my car back from getting an alignment. It took them two days to get it on the rack and then I couldn't pick it up over the weekend because the were closed.

Left and right were equal (laser rack ftw):

Front Camber: -2.8*
Front Toe: 0.0*
Front Caster: 5.5*

Rear Camber: -1.0*
Rear Toe: 0.0*

Just installed the Beatrush Propeller Shaft Mounts. These guys are made out of Al (probably 6061) and anodized gold. Stock mounts are rubber with metal washers integrated into them. Install took literally 20mins including jacking up the car.

2 14mm bolts. Screwdriver to separate the two halves of the stock bushing mounts. Tightening torque for two bolts is 52N*M.

Examining the stock bushings and propeller shaft bearing, it's hard to believe these make a bit of difference.

The stock bushings don't have that much rubber on them to begin with. However, if you can't tell from the picture, the bushings look like they are already degrading. I'm not rough on my car but I think their proximity to the exhaust doesn't help them.

The propeller shaft bearing that these mount to the body has a lot of soft rubber in it.

It may be a placebo effect but the shifts do feel a little more crisp. Obviously since some dampening has been taken out of the system, you would expect some noise. I couldn't really sense an increase in drivetrain noise.

U can eliminate that shaft completely with a 1 piece CF driveshaft ;-).
