Here's a funny little anecdote:

Today I was walking through the parking garage at Purdue to my car. In the stair well, I happen upon a group of young lads.

I hear one of the lads scoff and say, "Why would you paint those rims on that car flat black." (clearly talking about my car, there aren't any other flat black rimmed cars afaik in the parking garage at this time.)

To which another one replies, "I could see doing that on a '69 Camaro but come on..."

PPPPPPFFFFFFTTT!!!!!!!

i cannot believe people hate on your setup, mine are flat black on my 05 obp and it looks awesome. i have plenty of pics in my journal if you wanna stop by and check them out.

also reading what you say, its the same way i am with the car: stock turbo, torque, and useable power FTW

Oh... uhh... i don't know how to put this... i cut it to pieces.

I'll post pics tomorrow. I've been ridiculously busy the last month. I haven;t even had time to wax my car since it came out of storage.

I had previously pulled and sold several of my suspension pieces in preparation for coilovers and was back on stock suspension. Coilovers currently aren't in my near future because money is tight. Decided to optimize the stock suspension... well stock struts and springs at least... for the time being while staying STU legal (Dan! )

Had a busy weekend. Finally installed my WL 27mm adj front sway, WL 24mm adj rear sway, WL front and rear adjustable endlinks, WL Max C Motorsport camber/caster plates, WL Rear Sway Mounting Blocks.

Also reinstalled my Group N rear strut tops, H&R Camber bolts.

The H&R camber bolts didn't hold for sh!t on the front (driver's side slipped nearly went to positive at the first autox of the season) but they haven't let me down yet in the rear even during track days. They allow me to dial out some camber and run -1* in the rear.

Does this suspension setup make me look like a whore?:

MMMMM Camberlicious

There's a lot of toe out in the front, getting an alignment tomorrow. I'll post numbers then.

EDIT: You'll also notice the Subaru Ball Joints in the picture. I replaced those also because they were melty and hard from track days, one can assume. The driver's side was cracked and leaking grease. I'm sure the grease subaru uses isn't high temp either so these might be a good thing for everyone to take a look at.

In order to avoid this which i assume the KB bushing is prone to also because it is of the same design:

I bought the beatrush front shifter stay bushing. As you can see from the picture, it has a thicker sleeve.

The beatrush bushing is also thicker. I had already machined a thicker 304ss sleeve for the kartboy and was going to run it until i found this out. the beatrush overall, looks like a better design.
