So I was looking into wrapping all of the piping before the turbo, I'm just curious now that your car has had more time and miles how has the wrap and spray held up? Does it still look like when you put it on and is everything still cool to the touch?
Nice job by the way. Your car looks good.

The wrap and spray, together, have held up very well. The silicone spray on the cast iron part of the downpipe has burned off for the most part.

Did a little body modification at a really really wet, slick track day:

Sorry to hear that, seems that after exiting the corner, you hit the gas a lil "too" hard which caused the spin. Simple and normal, but I guess with all that water it just lost traction and spun around, then really spun hard on the slippery grass. Atleast your ok and the car doesn't look that bad. I gotta get that same door fixed on my car, I have a "dent" on it as well.

Holy poop! Driving in rain requires serious modulation-AWD requires less but still.

Sorry for the damage. My wife would be pissed!

ouch timmy! sorry to see that happen.

re070's are pretty damn slick in the rain as it is, although after this weekend i've decided not to drive my rt 615's in the rain either.

Sorry about the mishap. Been there with wet track condition. Like Chris said, it looks like too much throttle on exit. At least it didn't cause too much damage. I've been looking at that first pic, and I still can't see the damage to the front end. Am I blind?

AHh I see it, front bumper looks raised. Just curious, if you can, let me know how much they charge for the door. My guy told me $350 because he has to push the skin out and fix the dent on mine right where the body line is.

Ahh.. I need to keep that in mind on rainy days.

Can they realign the front bumper? Or does it need to be replaced? Could be several hundred dollars in difference.

From what I can tell, nothing will actually need to be replaced. It doesn't look like the beam underneath the bumper cover and the bumper cover itself are damaged. The fender may need to be replaced because there is a kink in the wheel well area that cracked.

I'll post up the after pics and cost, however, I will most likely be having a family member fix it.

Most recent UOA. 1 Track day, three or four autoxs and some street driving totaling 1800 miles. I'm sticking with GC on the street and now on the track. I used to run Motul racing 40wt but considering the price and the proven effectiveness of GC on my most recent track day, I'm going to stick with GC. Not sure why they said I was trying Castrol Syntec on this sample. All three of the samples I have sent in were Castrol Syntec.
