Nice choice. jph on the NorCal chat thread was a Mazda-head for a bit. Hes quite knowledgable in regard to those cars as I remember.

This is one I have considered for my son when he gets "of age". Lots of aftermarket support, lots of SCCA sanctioned events, tiny motor, simple layout, great chassis, and no backseat to make babies in.

It'll be less than 1 month before car is done so i will start revealing the project detail.

The target car
Varis Super Taikyu Wide body kit

Kit includes
Front wide bumper
Front wide fender (25mm wider)
Side step (carbon + FRP)
Wide rear fender (35mm wider)
Rear bumper
3 piece carbon fiber rear diffuser
Carbon Canard and attachment cover.

let me tell you the fitment is incredible.
A+ fitment with minor tweaking needed.

Story:
Varis revealed this kit during 2007 Tokyo Auto Salon.
When the kit was first released I didn't really like the rear bumper.
Soon the kit grew on me. There isn't many wide body kit available besides M-sport and chargespeed and Launsport.
I wanted to do something radical to promote my company (Garagespec.com).
I didn't want to do a WRC replica because I thought it was too plain.
After 6 month of contemplation, I decided on the Varis kit.
It took another 7 month after that for Varis to produce my kit and ship it to the US.

More in come.....

Eddie Money, do you have pics when they released the front fenders back in 06'. They had like the pics of the white one with the gunmetal crazy offset wheels, but at that point it didn't have the rear flares. I love how those front flares have the slits behind the wheels to show the tires.
