that's funny..my wife, too (isfh). at least your wife doesn't have to worry about getting the "romantic drive" section of her temporal lobe switched on with concussive force.

(i think i see a camel toe on the chick to the far right)

congrats to quirt and company on putting together such a great car.

It's cool that you guys made the haul all the way out there. I am really glad I got to see that car in person and there's no doubt it's wicked fast!

Hope to see you guys on the track again someday.

I like the color of the old enkei wheels better, maybe they can paint their new ones that color.

Default Re: VIDEO of 1st gear pulls showing full boost, 25psi, on the stock boost control sys

thanks for all the compliments guys

I have some video for you. Here's why.........and I've been meaning to take this video for along time.

When I first decided to change from the Perrin kit over to the Crawford kit........not only changing kits, but changing the fuel system, size of turbo,Engine management, and tuning company......along with boost control.

Talking with Bill from I-speed and them suggesting the stock boost control system......kinda had me baffled. nearly EVERYONE uses aftermarket boost controllers? I asked Bill how much boost I was going to see with the 35r on the stock bcs, in 1st gear. He told me around 18lbs. I thought that was great, honestly! I was pumped so off I go!

After my internet tuning was complete.......(take that back, I had the water/meth dyno tuned just cause I was going to be in cali anyway working........so I drove the car for dyno tuning. my pump gas 91octane was internet tuned)........at the end of summer last year, not only did I get 18psi, I got 25psi!!!! Yes, in 1st gear......yes, on the stock bcs.

here's video proof. well, you can do the calculations.........the stock boost gauge is BURIED!!!!

It's kinda hard to tell, but on the 2nd pull, I hit the rev limiter right as I clutched in. the car did a nose dive as you can kinda tell by the camera being joggled around.

cliff notes: stock longblock, 36k miles, 7550rpm rev-limiter. = FUN!!!

ok.......let me hear it!

I can consistantly break the FRONT tires loose in 2nd when it's a little cooler out.

It's been above 90* here for ever. That's why I like winter.....when it gets below about 60* or less, this car feels like it gains another 40whp.

In fact, on a 17* night last winter, the car was downright scary! Yet sooo fun

hey, where am I in that sig of yours!?
