when I did the lower a arm brace I found that it did a great improvement to steering, it was more agile, precise and seemed to get rid of oversteer that most Suby's have. With the bigger sway bars done after the brace was done there was no real improvement in handling??? The funny thing is I had a Jetta before that had undersear problems and I had a A arm brace on that and it seemed to help too... Go figure, I think the problem with both cars is chassie flex and the A-arm brace seems to help both weather it's understear or overstear...

the physics behind a swaybar upgrade especially on a MY07 should be a large improvement.

before making very bold statements saying your lower brace > sway bars you might want to actually drive the car, take it to an autox with your stock sways then make some hits with the new ones. It'll be night and day.

on the street doing casual driving the sways weren't that noticable, but once I got to an autox with the new setup

Yahoo my Cobb 3" down pipe came in today now just the wait for Cobb to come out with the AP V2 with 07 Sti maps. They say first quarter of 07 but hopefully that's Jan and not March, but I know it will probably be in April or May before it's actaully released. Oh well gives me time to save.

Wow it's been a while.

I can't even remember all I have done and what I have been doing.

I have done a mod here and ther mostly sound wise.

Went with a Clarion Head unit 675 with Sirius and Infinity componants front and rear with 12" subs powered off a 600rms RF amp.I also did a red havac upgrade and a HID tint on all lighting but the installer screwed up on the headlights.. I will be going with Stagg two next week with the cobb AP2 coming out finally with the back up for the 07's... Soon after that a pro tune from Rocket Ralley which is an hour drive or so. I love all the meets and autox's in the area and been having fun with hanging out with the guys and girlz from them.
I still can't wat for a real track day but the slush cup auto cross was fun but I had snowies on so the time could have been better. But went from a 64 sec. run to a 50's run and the top runners were doing 48-50....

Oh ya I guess I also did super tone so people can hear me coming.. and also did the PiAA plasma ion bulbs for the fog lights so people can see me coming.

I also had a special order Inno box from Japan come in a pearl white it's not 99% but close enough for my liking..Thanks INNO for the free gear.

I have the wheels 51 off set but still deciding on the tire wanting to go with a 255/35/18 on a stock hieght with out rolling the fenders? Mght just go with the 245/40/18's instead.. will c .. WOW I have had a few nice drives up to Baker this year... Snow drifting around some corners and with over 52 corners on the drive up it keeps you on your toes..

I'm still suprised on who much the gas grade matters on these cars... If it's not Chevron or Mohawk they run like crap I always put from 92-94 to keep it purring nicely...

Even though I have the Limited I still get idiots that see the STI badge and want to race it was fun for the first couple of times but it got tired fast...

Unless it's a M3 or M5 or a done up 350 or RX8 why bother???.

I did get a compliment from a Audi driver in a s4 or s6 say wow that's the fastest I have driven this road at night like that!!! I was thinking in the back of my head this was my first time driving this road and it was foggy as he ll and I wish I new the road so I could drive it faster.. hehe Suby's rock..
the other day I boosted by this guy in a RX8 and he gut so pissed a four door sedan with a cargo box passed him. He tried to catch up then in middle of daylight at 830 in the morning rush hour this guy passes two cars in the shoulder/curb lane to pass me??? I was like WTF and boosted up to read his plate RX8CER what a heat score. It was a nice car but there is a time and place for everything and that was so wrong. It's onething to go a little over the limit but to start passing like that in rush hour??

Anyway I'll get some more pictures up when I Summer'ize my car and get some stagg two protune pulls on the dyno..

Right on man.

You need to post pics of all these boxes, lights, headunit, speakers etc. I have a good imagination, but I like fulfillment

Cheers,
M

The latest mods are the Falkin 615's and I also had a pro Tune done at Rocket Rally. I did a track day on the stock brakes and they seemed yo work great then two weeks later I started having issue with noise and the STi blanks seem a bit warped, so I would say brakes will be the next upgrade, pads/lines, blanks if I can't turn them strait.

Here are some new pictures.

Below same crap as other stag 2's
blah blah blah catted Cobb DP, AP2, Spt intake, Spt cat Back exhaust.... number's on RR dyno always read lower and it doesn't help it was a really hot summer day. But wow she goes good in the crisp morning air.
