How do you like the cusco master cylinder brace? I am actually sponsored by them so ill grab one of those this week.
I haven't pushed it really hard yet, the pedal feels a tad firmer just before the ABS kicks in (hopefully it's not just in my head). Probably feel the difference on a road course or maybe when I autoX next

Last night I also installed NGK Iridium 1-step colder spark plugs. Install went very smooth, I was pleasantly surprised at how things came along. The plugs are in a terrible spot but are accessible with simple hand tools (and small hands helped too). One step closer to my protune...

Took it on a test drive for the first time this afternoon and WOW. I wasn't expecting to notice any difference, at least not until the tune, but the car runs surprising smooth! At idle and under a load I swear it runs butter smooth. Shifting gears is much smoother, everything is improved. I really can't believe it. No noticeable power gains, but so far the plugs are well worth the $38 and 2 hours time to install just for the security and smoothness I've felt so far.

awesome journal man, very similar line I'll be taking my car down. Nice to see folks getting the suspension and stiffening mods put on.

Spark plugs took that long to install? Ouch, I've not looked into it, but knew I was going to get around to it. Spoiled by your traditional 4cyl honda.. so easy to get to the plugs..

Thanks!

I wasn't in any rush, if I had to do it again I could probably do it in 45 minutes to an hour. Definitely not the same walk in the park as the inline 4 engines are, but still easier than it looks.

Syms Wing bought and paid for!!

Just so happened to be browsing the Private Classifieds forum (which I never do, I almost always buy stuff new) and saw a Syms wing for sale, brand new unpainted by Andy aka sarkleseizure, for an outstanding deal. Originally listed late 06 and still hadn't sold, so I had to pick it up. Wasn't planning on buying the wing for a few months but it was just another deal I couldn't pass up

This car is really starting to cost me some big money now, I need to stop

I see you've updated your journal already!

It'll be on it's way tomorrow...I'm subscribing so I can check it out once it's painted and installed.

Nice pics with a perfect scenery. Both cars look amazing. Definitely post up the rest of the shots.

Cant wait to see the car with the Syms Wing, should complete the rear of your car. I believe I said that in here before.

I agree. Rather, I hope it finishes my exterior, and the Brides finish my interior, because I can't afford anymore mods

Just a protune and then stop the modding!
