RacerXS,

I am not tuned by any means. I did remove the intake silencer though. My car was dyno'd at Harmon Motive to obtain a "baseline" run. Although, I'm not quite sure whether or not their dyno was fully calibrated...could that explain it? It makes me quite paranoid that you bring this up. The thing is, I'm not quite educated as far as engine performance goes on this vehicle (I went to my suspension first) and I have just recently started researching this area of the car now that my suspension is pretty much done (with the exception of a carlabs x-brace). I'm not by any means familiar with reading a dyno chart. I was told by Dan (owner of Harmon Motive) that my car was running nicely and perfectly fine. Could you either post a link or inform me on AFRs? Definately a bit of a concern for me.

If it helps at all, I should be going Cobb Stage 1 sometime this week/next week. ???

As for the rest of those who commented on the car. Thank you for the positive comments. I appreciate it. Some items exterior wise will be changing in the near future. Everything will be quite subtle.

Kind Regards,
Ryan

Well, if it makes you feel any better, at least it's too rich & not too lean. Generally richer = safer, but that graph looks extremely rich.
What you want to shoot for is 11.3-5/1 across the board at WOT. You would benefit greatly from a Pro-Tune.

Thanks RacerXS,

I'm actually stock engine wise...I did flash stage 1 today. I'll be collecting parts for my stage 2+ set-up...

Marcus,

I got the JDM grill from Japan Parts. Go through their website and you should come across it.

The grill is going to change shortly...

Lol...that's me...haha

I work in Long beach and take the 22 to 7th street.

I think I saw a white STi a couple of weeks ago on the 22. That must have been you.

Ryan

Clean looking car! I like the Nurburgring sticker

Interested to see what your new numbers will be on the same dyno, now that you're stage 1 (or two, soon). Wow, if 11.5/1 is the optimal AFR value, I'm also running pretty rich. I guess it's a safety issue with the stock tune, which is no doubt a good thing. Dug up my stock 04 graph, also on a mustang dyno:

Thanks for the comments. I'm quite pleased...I flashed stage 1 last night...and it has only gotten better since I've driven it. 1-3 is A LOT smoother...and 3rd just pulls...4,5,6 all pull nicely as well. I through the prodrive intake on (not supposed to lean out my AFR too much from what I hear...per Prodrive themselves) So far the car has just gotten better. It drives REALLY smooth now...I get no knock or detonation and the car is just over that much more pleasing to drive.

I'm currently collecting parts for my Stage 2+ set-up. So far I have a Prodrive BCS. I'll be getting a Stromung divorced Shorty DP mated to a Maddad high flow secondary to a maddad whisper. Either Tomei headers or Maddad. Deatchwerks injectors, a walbro, and MAYBE an intercooler. I'll tune with those...once my turbo blows...I'll be set-up for a 18g/20g or the like.

Kind Regards,
Ryan

Default Re: 2006 OBP STi "RB320 Grille in Black Pics"

Only one shot. Harsh lighting didn't fair too well with the new lens and DSLR Camera. Will take better shots later.

Pics don't do this grille justice. I'm one of two who have this grille. Not painted, rubberized.

Kind Regards,
Ryan
