IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | That sounds really damn good. Thanks for posting that. I think I just found something else to add to my mod list ![]() Can't you daisy chain the gauges' power cables so that they will all start at the same time? Also isn't there a way to wire it so that they only do one sweep on startup? This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | ^No worries Anyway, my gauges are daisy chained together .I was told that even though they're daisy chained together, they're powered separately... whatever that means. I don't understand it, but apparently they don't all sweep in sync. I've thought about splicing in the third gauge as opposed to daisy chaining it, to see if that made a difference. To be honest, I don't care all that much to make the effort. But, I may go and wire the Ill wire so that the gauges are white w/out the lights on... I can hardly see the amber during daylight. And that is only one sweep on start-up. When I turn the key to the first position, the gauges stay off. It's only when I turn the car on that they sweep. That's just Prosport's start-up sequence. |

![]() Yeah, it's a pretty intense time while the gauges start up. I usually request full silence from my passengers to fully appreciate it. ![]() Quote:
So far. Hopefully the paint is the right stuff.... I'll find out when I re-bake them | ||

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | ^Yeah, no extra sealant should be necessary. It's not like your removing any when you first pull them apart, so what's on there from the factory is enough. Anyway, paint is just drying... should be done in couple hours. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | ^Thanks for posting that pic. I actually bought a can of mat white spray paint as well. But, to be honest, I think it looks really rice. I googled "white painted headlights" and nothing but DSM's came up. I just need to clean my headlights (was out all night) before taking pics. I think it looks awesome now - mean. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (30) | I love it!!! More contrast, the white ones would blend in way to much on your "white" car already........def a lot nicer now. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
