Yeah, the GF still gets to have her ass warmed in the winter.... and a side airbag

I'm sure she'll appreciate my consideration. She probably won't be all that happy when she's hanging on for dear life while I'm planted deep in my seat

But ya, slightly ghetto for a while at least. One seat will have to do for now, until I have the extra coin to add back some symmetry.

exactly....I am prob going to have to order one Bride Gias Low Max with the sliders and all, and then months later buy anther for the passenger.......ugh!

OEM USDM seats are pretty lame in that they don't hold you very well at all, you sit on top of the seat rather than in it, and it was designed for, umm, ample sized American asses. It pretty much turns into hanging onto the steering wheel for support, and using your leg to brace against the door.

Yah......I am jealous of the Evo's and their red stiched Recaros!!!!!! Can't wait till I get my Gias and sell the Stock STi seats for some mula. Want to know how the seats are....turn the wheel all the way to the left or right, and floor your car........

!!!!!!!! If it wasn't for harnesses, I would have been all over the place at Limerock!

this is definately true....fat americams= Fat seats......just look at the S204 seats...much better....Whyte you could of just got cg locks for the time being.....i most defianetly want to upgrade the seats in my limited but dont want to sacrafice airbags and butt warmers so i think i gonna try source some s204 seats when my japaneese friend goes to japan

....or buy a bride or sparco seat and custom outfit them ( airbags...butt warmers...custom stiching with sti in headrests and red pipping/stitching...

That sounds like a good plan. Probably big $$ though. Good luck with the S204 seats...might want to track down a VIN number if you can

My plan right now is to run the Bride in the summer and the OEM seat in the winter. That way, I'll have my seat warmer when it really counts. I could have gotten a harness, but I don't want to drive around with it all the time since my car is still primarily a DD. Hence the seat... I'm hoping it'll do the job holding me in as opposed to getting all strapped up. I'll save getting the harness for when I hit the track

I was just giving you a hard time man. Seriously though, search the "Interior" forum for STI seats and you'll see the many gripes about the USDM seats. They're

for the most part.

I'd hold off getting a STI now until the 08's were revealed. My guess is that everything not so good about our STI's is going to be... well... better.

lol i know its all good bro, but yeah thats what im waiting for, i live about an hr or so from manhattan so my plan is check out the 08 Sti, at the jacob jav in may, and make my decision then.
