Haha very nice. Yeah, I think the Cobb looks great, and sounds even better! I realize that it's good for ~400hp, but i guess I was just expecting you to go for a full 3". Speaking of 8cm and boost creep, I guess you're going for an internally gated setup?

Keep me posted, I was going this setup until an unfortunate accident happened that required me to sell my parts to pay for repairs.

unfortunately, i'm just a college squash player and not pro squash player yet so M.I.A.M.I.

Anyway, keep us posted. I love your setup.

Thanks man... too bad about the accident - selling stuff to pay for other stuff is never fun (or easy). Good luck with that.

Maybe eventually I'll do a full 3", but I can't see myself needing to do that with my plans. We'll see I guess.

Oh, and I am definitely going IWG. EWG sounds like a horse is dying a painful death... to my ears.... jk, but I'm keeping the understated theme.

Yeahh, I don't like the sound of the dump. I'm going EWG (when I can afford it all again -- hopefully in spring) but i'm gunna get it routed back into the DP to keep the sound down so you can't hear it.

Did you consider EWG and getting it pipped back in? I dunno, the one problem is your DP is basically wasted if you ever want to part out unless the buyer wants a DP made for an EWG setup.

My STi came from the US.... but I was just curious about Edmonton because I'v often considered transfers there but have always been scurred about what would happen to the underside of my car. I can deal with cosmetic damage because it can be repaired.

That sounds like a good idea. I hadn't considered that at all, and my tuner definitely didn't mention it. I'll have to look into it.

Ideally though, I'm happy with keeping things simple so I'm probably going to leave things as is until my protune in January (or the "1st quarter," a la Cobb )

I believe the rotated Perrin kits come standard with a downpipe ment for a EWG to be routed in.

Whyte, you're messing me up here. I have a 3" catless Perrin setup, and everytime I hear a Cobb (twice today) I start wishing I went with it. Sounds great, congrats!

Thanks bud.
The CAI was a nice addition... it's purely a noise maker at this point, but it sounds very good. I like being able to hear the turbo - just my preference I guess. I'll make it more than eye candy when I get tuned... then it'll help my 20g breathe

Thanks a lot Tomer.

But, lol, sorry for playing with your feelings man!
I do have to say that of all the exhausts I've heard, the Cobb ranks right up there in the sound department. The rumble is addictive! I'm happier that I went with it every time I jump in my car.

if you are going 20g.....you should get the 70mm CAi, now that would make it breathe better

I think www.fastwrx.com has them.

Like Jive said, fastwrx.com carries them, but I got mine from SoJDM.com. I also got the Autospeed deadpedal from them at the same time.

Yeah, that's true. I'm going to see what kind of numbers come from the tune and see if it's worth moving up to the 70mm. I know that you did that (or is your plan to), but I can't see the 5mm in the intake being the bottleneck. If anything, it'll be my 2.4" inlet on the 20g or the 2.5" taper in my TBE.

They really, really don't

When I first fired it up, my buddy that helped me install it got this really retarded, lame grin on his face and was like, "Whoa, that's sooo DEEP." I cracked up

I'm actually in Baltimore right now at another tourney (go figure ) so when I get home, my next install is going to be the FMIC. Then fuel pump, then pulley, then turbo/injectors and tune.

Excited.
