Well, we made it to Portland for SubieFest2 in one piece. We left at 6AM and got here at 9PM!!! There are 6 cars total that made the trek. I will post some pics when I get back on Tues.

No events for me. I would love to but the drive up (all 940 miles) was tough enough. I couldn't imagine breaking something up here and having to figure out how to get home. Here are a few shots my buddy took along the way:

Just made it back from our 2240 mile excursion to SubieFest2. We made it up there in one 15 hour drive on Thurs. On Fri., we hung out at PDX Tuning, stopped by Burnside skate park (don't ever go there BTW) and checked out a few waterfalls just east of Portland. Sat. was SubieFest2 and it was awesome. Rained most of the day but the Time Attack still went on. Team Orange put on some amazing drift demos and Phil from Element Tuning took home 1st place in the TA. We left Sun. morning and made our way down to PCH at the CA-OR border via hwy 199 (mazing canyon drive). Ended up on the 101S and got back onto PCH in Leggett, CA. This stretch of road from Leggett out to the coast is by far one of the craziest, fun canyon roads I have ever encountered. It had everything from long easy sweepers to 2nd gear, 180 degree drop-in swithcbacks. Really felt like a tarmac rally course. And best of all, there were no incidents with 6 cars . We camped at Russian Gulch State Park and then hit the road for Big Sur SP. We rolled over The Bay Bridge at about 1pm and made it to camp at about 4:30pm. Continued down Hwy 1 straight home. I don't think we ever saw less than a 7-hour drive each day! I will post pics up within the next couple of days. I am absolutely exhausted.

05cgm, your car looks great man! I love the Cusco front lip and the JDM rear spats. They work very well together. Thanks for helping out with my wheel decision. You made it a whole lot easier even though my car is a bit opposite ... I am using RPF1's for the street and the back time attacks (57F's) for the track .

I definitely need to find a method of brake cooling. Does Cusco sell their under-tray with the brake ducts? Do you have any more pictures of your duct setup?

The pics on pg 6 are the only ones I have. Sorry. The Cusco undertray does not come with them. I actually got the undertray off of the ESX Long Beach GP car and it came with them on there. It would be very easy to do though. I believe they are refferred to as NACA ducts. I have the RCE Kool Braket kit but I have not had time to tackle the ducting from the inlets to the brake ducts. I tried briefly but the tire would pinch the hose at full turn. I am thinking of using an aluminum hard pipe to route air to the ducts.

Okay, cool. I have to keep researching. Please keep us posted on the brake ducts.

BTW, are the USDM fog light bezels just for looks?

No, they were my original plan for the ducting and then I came across the undertray. I just haven't changed them back because I had a CAI and my STi ones are hammered.
