Well, I had the ALK and steering rack bushings installed two weeks ago and finally made it down to West End Alignment in Gardena for Darin to corner balance and align the car. Before I post the specs I have to say that Darin one of the most professional and courteous car guys I have ever dealt with. The car feels like a whole new car. I can't say enough about him or his work. First up was the corner balancing and ride height. For the ride height, I ended up going with 13.5" rear and 13.75" in the front. This measured from the center of the hub to the lip of the fender. A little lower in the front than most people prefer, but I can live with that. The corner balancing numbers are as follows: LF-1035 lbs.; RF-984 lbs.; LR-736 lbs.; and RR-685 lbs. If you add corner to corner (LF+RR & RF+LR) you get 1720 lbs. on each side of the car for a total weight of 3440 lbs. (includes me in the car). For the alignment I went with -1.4 deg. camber/ 0 toe in the rear and -1.75 deg./ 0 toe in the front, but my track setting will be -2.25 deg./ 1/8th toe out in the front and is as easy as pushing the strut top all the way to the inside of the camber plates. Cannot wait to try this out at the track but the small canyon I took home felt great! I also stopped by Simpson Racing in Torrance on the way home and bought a new helmet. Went with the Voyager in white.

Looks like you do nice work!

I wanted to know how the Kool Brake instal went. Does it help and is it worth the $$? How are the ducts routed?

Unfortunately that is the only part I have not gotten around to installing. I just have not been able to get the time to do this. My plan is to use the USDM fog bezels as the inlet. Just not sure how am going to attach the hose to the bezel. From what I have read too, the hose which is 3' long makes it a little tough. Hopefully I can get around to it this month and I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for the comments guys.

Darin really is a stand up guy. He did my alignment as well, no corner balancing though.

Was fortunate enough to come across a used ARC titanium cooling panel and for a good price. Then I just got the itch after reveiwing Ben's car and seeing the RPF1s. A friend of mine also has them and I really think they are the best bang for the buck, lightweight, affordable and look oh-so good. I just placed an order for a set of 17x8.5 +40 offset Enkei RPF1s in silver. I plan on running the stock RE070s for a while and then moving up to an R-compound. Can't wait!

No way! These will be my track set up. If I could afford to run r-comps on a daily driver, I would not have an STi (No offense, I love these cars) and would have a lot of tickets . I keep eyeballing all of you Jersey cars for ideas Caesar. You guys keep busy over there.

Signed up for Streets of Willow track day on Nov. 11. I am really trying to figure out what track pad to go with. I am looking at the Ferodo DS2500. I don't want anything to harsh on the stock rotors, but I want some extra stopping power. Any suggestions?

Went to Streets of Willow yesterday with SpeedTrialsUSA. Had a blast. Ran in the intermediate group with about 4 of my friends. Here are a couple of pics of my car:

Me chasing down my buddy's EK:

And a few links to all of the pics:

As for my brakes, I actually used the stock pads with steel braided lines and Motul RBF600 fluid. The stock pads felt great, absolutely no issues. Also first time I have put my suspension to a real test and I am very happy with it.

Only because my front bumper and front lip are already chipped to hell. I figure why waste good tape on bad paint .

Yeah I try to get to the Santa Clarita meet every couple of weeks. Thanks for the compliment.
