No negative effects as of yet. Yes it does have a loud flutter sound.

Are you gonna come out to the Redline Time Attack event at Auto Club Speedway?

^ Sooo expensive! I can't justify the price for that track. I think its way over priced, IMO.

Sorry, I did not see your post until today. I really wish I could have made it out to that event. Some serious machines and drivers there. It would have been fun. I just have so much going on in my life right now, especially with the little one, I really have to pick and choose which events I will run carefully. SubieFest3 is definitely on the list, just have to decide which class since there are only two .

Where is it recirculating back to? I've always wanted to plumb it back to reduce the noise especially at part throttle when tracking. Do you have any pics besides the one on page 1?

The video was cool btw!

It recircs right into the APS inlet. I don't have any other pics but I honestly don't think it helped cut down on the noise. I can still hear the flutter after partial throttle and a solid "whoosh" after full throttle. Thanks for the comment on the vid. Are you up for running Big Willow on Sat. Aug. 30th? SpeedTrials and it looks like we can get a group discount.

Added a few parts in preparation for SubieFest3 next weekend. Upgraded the thermostat, added front and rear tow hooks and the car now has a 6-point rollcage in it. Unfortunately, my street-class tires did not show up in time so I had to run my R-comps which means I will be running on a completey different tire next weekend for the first time. Just got back from another Big Willow track day. They did not have a transponder available but I was able to use my buddy's data aquisition system for on session and had a best time of 1:36.8xx during that session. Later on had quite a few good laps and they actually felt a little faster but we shall find out next weekend at the big event. I don't think that anything over a 1:35 will be competitive in Mod Class but who knows. Here are a few pics from the day:

Go for the win out there man! I wish you luck. If they were running streets I'd enter, my car isn't setup for big willow.

Caged huh? Very nice! How about some pics of it?
Good luck at Subiefest - the car's looking good. You'll do great.

Thank you. Same to you BTW. I really like the way the 3071 comes on power. Very smooth response and still makes decent power up top.

Thanks a lot guys. I am definitely going to need it with the caliber of drivers entering and the fact I will be on all new tires for me next weekend. It should be fun no matter the outcome. I will get some pics of the cage and seats this weekend for you.
