IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | Unfortunately I was only able to get one run session due to a family emergency. I did not really get a chance to mess with the wing angle, tire press. or swaybar setting. It definitely did feel different than last time though. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | So I have everything for a turbo upgrade. Inj., pump, FMIC, TGV deletes, inlet, etc. Everything but the turbo . My original plan was to go with a 3", 8cm FP Green (I am staying stock mount IWG). I am starting to wonder if I should go with the Element Tuning GT52 now. After watching BoostJunkie's thread, he got me thinking. What does everyone here think, is the GT52 really worth the extra money? Everything I find (on NASIOC and here) shows the the GT52 making around 20 more hp. Worth the extra $500? |

| Iron Fisted | IMO it is definitely worth the extra money. As everyone says, its the turbo with the top end of a 30r with faster spool up than the green. Ultimate turbo in my mind. Go for it |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | Thanks AMG. I am really leaning towards this turbo but I want to make sure the extra $$$ is worth it. Anyone else have an opinion on this? |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | Thanks. I think the APR GT-300 or the Voltex would look great on your car, especially with the wide stance it has already. When is the next track day |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | So I have had a few parts coming in the last couple of months and I am getting real close to the purchase of the actual turbo. So far this is what I have ready to go on: TGV deletes GrimmSpeed coated up-pipe GrimmSpeed triple thick phenolic spacers SSAC FMIC SPT short ram intake Deatschwerks 850cc inj. Walbro 255 lph fuel pump Apex'i AVC-R II boost controller Still needed is an inlet tube. Thinking the Perrin or Samco since it does not have to be 3" for the GT52 but still unsure. The APS is double the money but is a sure bet not to collapse. Also looking into the Perrin EL header then the turbo should finish it all up. Any suggestions or critiques? |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (8) | On my 20G and SZ55 my standard size Perrin didn't collapse. I can't speak for Samco because I haven't used it. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
