Thanks for coming out to the track and hanging out with us in the insane heat, It's allways great to have fellow Subie owners for support while at the track To bad you left the track on Saturday, on Sunday Samuel Hübinette was out in our car doing some drifting through turns two and three! Thanks for the kind words

I have not been able to have a ride around the track, but I was ever so lucky to have Quirt let me take it for a drive around Oceanside. they had the 2.7L in that time with c16 (I think) and it was AMAZING!!! I thank the whole Crawford Performance crew for that. I will have all my parts on the car and running in less than 2 weeks. Fully Crawford Performance car. I can't wait!!!!!!! |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | OK, now I know there is a huge debate about grounding kits working or not working. I had no plan in even trying this mod but a friend of mine went to the darkside (traded in the Suby for an Evo) the other day and he let a few parts go cheap. The Evo is damn nice BTW. I picked up the SUN Auto Cyber Speed Hyper Voltage System from him. I just got done throwing this and an ARC titanium rad. shroud on. ![]() I have no clue what (if any) it will do for power but when I started it, it was NOTICEABLY smoother on idle. I have the Cusco engine and trans. mounts so I am used to some vibration on start up. I am quite happy with it so far. I don't know that I would by one at the new price just based off of this but we will see how it goes on the dyno. I am planning to get a CoolingMist Stage 2 kit real soon so we will see. Just thought some of you would like to hear my take on this grounding kit experience. |

word on the smoother idle. I have the same HVS and also, I notice my hid lights to be a little brighter...but i might be paranoid.

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | So I have finally (after 5 or so months) dropped off my wing and carbon trunk to my painter. It is the Cusco carbon 3D GT wing: ![]() He is stripping the ESX red paint and white stickers down to the carbon and then re-clearing it. It took me 2 months to track down the mounts for this wing because it has been discontinued. I am going to have him paint the trunk, but I put an STi sticker where the badge goes and then he will remove it after painting, shoot some clear on the whole thing so the STi logo will be in carbon. I can't wait to get everything back and put on for Laguna Seca in Nov. Now I just have to decide on a race seat, RaceTech 4009HR or Sparco Circuit? |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | Thanks. What made you move away, work? I was up that way earlier this year for SubieFest2. These are the two seats I am trying to decide between. The Sparco Circuit: ![]() OR the RaceTech 4009HR: ![]() Anyone here have any experience with either? |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | Well that was three quick votes! Thanks guys. I can get the Sparco seat much cheaper so I was leaning that way anyways but RaceTech makes one hell of a seat! |
