Default Alphasti's Journal *Protune Harman Motive Dyno Posted*

Ive been around the forum for about a year but never started my journal until today

I purchased my 2005 AW STI end of June 05. Car has been a blast.
So far my mods are:

Engine:
Cobb AP v.1 (Thanks to Caesar!)
Tomei Expreme Headers
Maddad V2 Catted DP
NGK One step colder plugs
Walbro fuel pump
Garage HRS radiator shroud
Protune by Harman Motive

Interior:
- Defi BF amber boost gauge (Mar 06)

Exterior:
- V-limited front lip (July 05)
- Wingless trunk (Aug 05)
- 50% tint all around (Sept 05)
- Subaru fog lights (Feb 07)

Brakes:
- Goodridge Stainless Steel Teflon coated lines (March 06)
- Motul RB600 Fluid

Suspension:
- Zeal Function-Xs coilovers (July 06)
- Cusco front/rear swaybars (Dec 05)
- Cusco front/rear strut bars (July 05)
- Cusco rear undertray support bar w/diffusor

Im pretty content with the power of the car so nothing has been added (yet?)

The only image I have right now are of the coilovers before being installed. I'll post some more pictures when I get home.

Heres one photo of the STI with the Zeals.

Ive been riding with the Zeal's since July 2. The roads here in Southern California arent exactly smooth. I currently have them set on 1 all the way around. The ride is amazing. No more bobble head as compared to the stock suspension. The coilovers are very well dampened on this setting. The ride is very smooth and refined. Its hard to describe but it is a drastic change compared to stock. These come with camber plates front and rear and the camber is dialed in at -1.0 front and -1.3 back with toe set at zero all the way around. I daily drive my STI so I didnt want to kill the tires with an aggresive camber setting.

These coilovers are a little noisy due to the pillowball upper mounts, but its hardly noticable.

Great looking car. I'll definately keep the Zeal's in mind when it comes time for coilovers.

Been a long time since I updated my journal. I'll try and post some pictures when tonight.

Here are the mods I've added since then:
- Tomei Expreme Header
- Maddad v2 DP
- NGK one step colder
- Walbro fuel pump
- Goodridge stainless steel brake line
- Inix pitch mount
- Garage HRS radiator shroud
- 17x8 Volk CE28N

I was using the Cobb OTS Stage 2 map for about a week. I got my protune at Harman Motive yesterday on their new mustang dyno (I'll post dyno pics tonight).

On 91 - 267whp and 308lb/ft torque
On 95 - 287whp and 333lb/ft torque

I wasn't expecting those numbers so I was pretty happy. Car is running smooth as silk!

Stealing these images from DCH that we took couple weeks ago:

I put down 265/298 w/ only a cobb catted downpipe last wk at Harman. Do you have a scan of your graph? Who tuned you? Oh, and i dig the wingless I deleted the RVS and the Dual plane on mine.

I'll try and post the scans from my dyno, John tuned my car.

When I saw your dyno I was amazed that you made that on just a DP. Maybe because your an 07 with the VF43? Who knows. But I'm happy with the way the car runs so thats what really matters.
