i just got my tails yesterday, its REALLY easy, its 4 bolts underneath the carpet in the trunk and the tails slide out. heres a picture on wrb wit my crappy crackberry:

just pop out the little plastic clips in the trunk and pull the carpet back, you might have to tug on them a bit but there are 4 nuts each side and then pull the tail light out from the outside and it just pops out. Once you unplug the harness you should be able to just pop the new tail light in, in your case you might have to put in your harness because im not sure if the new ones come with harnesses or not.... good luck bro.

i paid 280 new shipped for them with tax. THEY JUST CAME IN TODAY WOOOT!!!!! Now its time to do the free jdm tail light mod to them. I also got my respirator so i dont die when i paint my lip. Anyone looking for some 06 tail lights? OH ya i also gotta order up those tail light tints from blue batmobile!

got my walbro/ outrigger bushings/ hawk hps pads/ tranny crossmember bushings done today with major help from josh. Couldnt have done it without him. Especially since we stripped two of the bolts for the tranny crossmember bushings and had to drill them out/ buy new bolts from ace and jerry rig it together. so ya. WOOT!

sorry no pics. It took 6 hours and the last ting on my mind was pictures for you guys

Got the day off from work tomorrow so I'm gonna put my bluebatmobile tint on my new tail lights as well as my 3rd brake light, and sand/paint my lip! I'll be sure to post pics when im done. Stay tuned!

your car will look 100X better with the 05 tails as you know now haha. I got the same overlays as you did. Love them.
Cant wait to see your lip. Looking to go the same route.
