Very nice, I like the matte black, cant wait to see em on the car. I might be getting RT615's sometime this mid-season cause my neovas are almost done.

Thanks guys.

Andrew, I can't wait to get them on there but got to get the coilovers first. I like the 615's....they need more air pressure then most and probably don't grip quite as good as your Neovas but they're relatively inexpensive.

Spazegun, unfortunately I can only run up to 245 in STU but plan to ultimately run 275's on these wheels in BSP.

Please forgive for my ignorance, but is there a difference between 07 STI Fender Cowl Braces and previous years?

And what vendor were the wheels purchased from?

Thanks

Thanks guys, I can't wait to get them installed too.... The '07 fender cowl braces are beefier and more rigid in construction and you can't flex them with your hands. The previous year stock braces are flimsy in comparison and you can actually twist them in your hands a bit.

The wheels were purchased from www.edgeracing.com I ended up calling them to get the tires I wanted on these wheels. Mounting and balacing costs nothing when you do this btw.

Default Re: STi takes a Vacation

So while waiting for T2's arrive we packed up the trailer and headed up to the mountains for a week....

After an 8 hour haul from Florida we get to our bungalow and unpack.

So relaxing...hmmm, mountain biking, motorcycling, hiking, swim at a water fall, or ....

... DRIVE THE STi ON KILLER MOUNTAIN ROADS????

I don't know....maybe a caption contest or something....

This guy I know, let's call him "Dave", pulls ticks off of a hound...I think he ate them.

Dave likes to park his RS in front of my STi between twisty mountain sprints....

Oh yeah, he likes to drive in front of me too....

In car videos coming....

So been rotating tires every month after each autox and decided to get a cordless impact driver to make things easier. Jacksonville Mod Squad pointed me at Pepboys for for the $70 1/2" drive 24 volt unit.

Comes with extension and 4 sockets including 19mm so lugnuts are a breeze now!

Oh yeah, these came in today too:
