no i mean they make a divided housing. a "twinscroll" 35r exhoust housing. a normal 35r does not have this exhoust housing. you have to get it seperate from the turbo and the swap it out. so are you geting that housing or are you just puting a normal 35r on your twinscroll header? if you are not doing it you should. hear is a link to what i am talking about:

http://www.atpturbo.com/

its about half way down as a add. divided t3 exhoust housing "NEW"

They were called out in this thread *** Auto Master Twin Scroll GTR Turbo Kits! *** UPDATED PICTURES PAGE 2 for using a picture from ATP's website to show what their twin scroll turbos look like. I would guess it is a real twin scroll because they got it from ATP.

haha of course its going to have the twinscroll divided housing, thats the whole point... otherwise it would'nt be a twinscroll setup, there would only be the headers...

i would not use the term "called out" automaster did not claim in that thread to have built the actual turbo charger, they offered it in a twinscroll setup, and posted a picture of what it looks like. On the 2nd page, rob clearly says that ATP built the housing, and another person also made a nice point:

But back to the point.... Yes it is a TRUE twinscroll, the GT35R will have the proper exhaust housing, and i think Al will be be finishing that up today with any luck

I am a bit lost of why your tuner suggested going to a GT35? 450 Whp on a GT30R is nothing to achieve unless you are trying to stay at a set boost level and thats it? On pump gas I am now at 425 Whp @ 25 lbs of boost, C16 we dynoed 534 Whp @ 25lbs of boost. I will be adding injection in January and that should have me right around 470-480 Whp @ 25lbs of boost. Personnaly I think GT35's are over used when the 30's are perfectly fine....

You car is looking great!!!

Stock STi's only put down 200whp on there dyno. To hit the numbers he wants to hit. A 30R on pump gas will not achieve this. 450-500whp on pump gas on there dyno is 250-300whp over stock.

when they ran the turbo on their dyno it only made 400whp at 25 PSI, on meth. The problem is that we are also running NOS, so the when sprayed it adds 2 psi, so the tune would have to run at 22-23 psi, which wasnt enough power, and the automaster dyno reads VERY low. we were looking for a number like 450-500who @23 psi, which on their dyno is not possible on pump gas. The 35R will give us those numbers

Just an update, after installing the new twinscroll GT35r. the car went on the dyno, and couldnt make more than 400whp, EVEN WHEN SPRAYING THE NITROUS!!! So AL and Rob instantly knew what the problem was...
Back in the beginning when the block was from axis, it had cams and heads from a motor that had spun a rob bearing.... Because of this the cams and heads were damaged and i didnt want to spend the money to replace them back when Al redid the motor. And now they just arnt capable of producing the power.
ANYWAY.. because i tried to save money earlier, they now have to yank the motor back out AGAIN. REPOLISH EVERYTHING, put on new Race heads, and race cams... and then put it back in at the cost of thousands of dollars.

I really regret not listening to Rob(and Al) before, they kept telling me they didnt like the way the cams looked and the passenger side head was damaged. But i didnt want to drop another like 8 grand on new ones. So now i gotta do it, but i guess on the bright side its gonna be a really killer motor. And ill get a higher redline. The car will be back on the dyno next week, and then ill have DYNO CHARTS up of the Twinscroll GT35R which i know alot of you are very eager to see.
