This has nothing to do with a v-mount intercooler.

Search for Subaru WRC engine on google image, they use v-mounts. His PE kit wont look exactly the same, but its the same placement idea. n/m here is a pic... http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...lr%3D%26sa%3DN

A V-mount is where you mount the intercooler and radiator in a V configuration.

IC--------> / ~~~
radiator---> \ ~~~~ air

This prevents the I/C from blocking air-flow to the radiator as with a FMIC.

I know the diagrams rock!

Nice car!! I have CF trunk and I'm waiting to paint it to get some ideas on HOW to paint it. Can't wait to see yours. Any ideas yet? I was thinking paint the back all SGM, and paint the top where the two body lines (~4-5" on each side of the top) SGM as well. So, all of the back is grey, and the majority of the top would be open CF with the sides of the top grey. I would love to hear about your idea, unless of course you go all grey
