looks good, ever think of painting your headlights?

That S204 color would look great on your car.

Haven't posted in a while. I have been piling up parts but have not had time to install them with all the installs and tunes Ive been doing on my weekends off...

Finally got a chance to take a few parts to work today and throw them on...

* Cusco GC VII lower arm bar front
* Cusco rear pillowball trailing arms
* Cusco rear lower arm bar
* Cusco Rear camber adjustable pillowball top hats
* there is a prototype test Gimmick Motorsports Pulley kit in there

First, the lower am bar.

I removed the lower U brace and was running a V2 bar for a GD with adapters i made to allow fitment, but I had a GC so i remmeber how much more functional it was, I was on a mission. I have installed this bar on a few cusomer cars in the past with great results. Now it was my turn.
First I had to cut the tabs off the crossmember to allow room.

I sprayed some paint to prevent rust and prceeded to install the new bar. A much tighter feel than the other unit. This actually utilizes some good mounting points and the triangiulation (sp?) of the bar gives some additional rigidity. I love it much better.

Also installed Cusco's Rear trailing arms and rear lower tie bar

And then blacked out my gauge cluster and eliminated the cruise light and airbag light.

Also, Thanks to someones brilliant Photochopping of my car

I am now wingless.

This eliminated another 18lbs of weight off the car

I added a total of 1 with todays parts which brings me to a total weight savings of over 280lbs...Not counting the 30lb CF seats I have sitting here (30 for the pair with the mounts included) CF trunk I am waiting to paint, Cf driveshaft and stoptech front brake kit.

Hoping to be under 3000 total by the time I get to the private track session on Oct 17th.

Interesting...

You must have completely taken apart the cluster, correct?

And why did you remove the airbag light when you could have gotten a resistor? The cruise light comes on because of the check engine light, did you pull that too?

Gimmick,

Have you observed a notable temp difference with the V mount? Also, what is the benefit to the trailing arms, and did you weigh the RC5's? Do they induce any torque steer?

Yep, took apart the entire cluster and painted what i wanted flat black.

I have no airbags at all, no module either, I will be pulling all the sensors soon as well for weight (I hate airbags. My choice) Hence I could not use the resisters.

CEL is off from the UTEC, but cruise was always blinking, I eliminated it with the steering wheel so I killed the light too.

Well, I haven't felt any added torque steer with them. The overall weight of the wheel/tire combo adds up to a few lbs less than stock, and because the wheels have hollow spokes and the tires themselves are the lightest on the market by about 2lbs less than the stockers the weight is lost in the right places and the change has not caused any ill effects in the handling.

The v-mount combined with the gimmick motorsports 160 t-stat and Gimmick waterless coolant runs several degrees cooler in reg driving. I dont have a temp gauge in the car, but using the dashboard option on the utec I have been seeing a max temp of 78 celcius in the morning and 82 in the afternoon...(morning temps in the mid 80's and afternoon in the mid to high 90's)
