Just be aware you need to either a) have new studs ready or b) have new grade 8, flange head bolts ready. Oh yeah, this is all for the UP-to-turbo connection.

So, between the warped flange which blew out 2 gasket setups, the elongated bolt holes, and no studs, UR up-pipe sucks. I have heard the Element piece is nice. I shy from Perrin.

just talked to someone @ element tuning about the up-pipe...it's 50 bucks more and comes with studs and is said by them as a point that it has great oem fitment.

Looking for more opinions on the up pipe guys, thanks CB

oh yah and when did you have the UR up-pipe or what version(if there are versions) i have heared they have worked on it a lot because of issues it was having

stechs are still dropping, they are quite a bit lower now...ftw! the handling is great, stechs are soft i know, i have my dampening set to highest on my kyb agx's, so hopefullly that makes up for it..all i know is that the corner i usually take fast, i can now take a lottt faster and no tire squeal. My steering is also wayy more precise, more evo like...

thanks dave Coming from you and your setups the fuel was vp109, yah dude it pulls really nice dave, i am very happy..i wish i had more top end, but my bottom end is sooooo strong that it makes up for it. It feels like a v8 muscle car with instant throttle response... on pump 91 octane i'm hitting 274whp/281 wtrq

yah the stock sti on that dyno is 210whp just incase you missed it, so i am making really good power...for the stock turbo

thanks for the nods dave, keep me posted as to what's up with your car. That dog on the floor in the passenger seat pic is hilarious

My cat would own your cat

Nice setup btw. How difficult was the APS inlet install for you?

my friend ron helped me with it. He has done it 4 times so this was his fifth or something like that. Memorizing the rerouting of the lines made it so much easier, we didn't put the fpr in the same place the instructions say to. Ron said it has never worked for him like aps says in the manual as to where they want you to relocate it to.

You cut three straight lines with a dremel or whatever you cut with, very easy..and then the hardet part is just getting the intake mani back on with all the rerouted(and mostly bigger, higher quality) lines. Here is one pic, really not a tough install...but if you haven't done it before, i definately see how it could be a nightmare.

On the street it's already way to fast on pump gas, on race gas it's so fast that you are speeding before you even hit full boost...so for me if it hit good times, i'm happy. I am still pretty damn fast from a roll too, i hold boost rock solid on the freeway. My throttle response and torque are good enough where i am strong from a roll. I also like that the tune is safe and on stock injectors...i feel very confident in my tune and the fact that the block can definately handle this(if well maintained, which i plan on still doing obviously)102whp over stock for a long time. If i get a turbo, i would just bolt on a fp red or fp green and hook up my 3 inch inlet that came with my aps inlet kit.
