Pinged the crap out of it a few times and cracked 2 piston ringlands. Fate of the car ? It was traded in for another color.

When you get it tuned on a dyno, tell the dyno guy what all you have done just before. Ask them to check your work!

mike makes you fill out a sheet with all your mods (along with a liability disclaimer) prior to even putting your car on the dyno.. so it's your own fault with his shop if you don't list everything.

Not saying OP didn't do that; I can say with pretty much exact certainty that he likely did since Mike is adamant about it.

But the dyno up north that you referenced likely doesn't.

I'm very happy to hear Mike is taking care of the OP though .... I wish more shop owners were like him.

yup, just like we all thought. Unfortunately with subaru as we mentioned earlier, there is no way to figure out what went wrong and what caused X to fail. To many variables to look at and no "black box" log

no, it's a cd player itself. Also plays dvd's, mp3's, etc.

it's pretty cheap now, i've seen it for like $800 bucks iirc, google it.

I will send you some more pics later today.
