Looks good Steve....Yah I will post pics in my journal...once I give the washer fluid cap one more coat.....and hit up the "other" thing I wanted red. Thanks to Allen for this inspiration!

Munky69- I used Krylon Fusion Red Spray Paint (Made for Plastic), something like Red Pepper color....

Red caps look nice! Do you have a shot of the entire engine bay to see how it integrates visually with everything else? Thanks.

Well, I went to E-Town tonight, for my FIRST EVER 1/4 mile run. A little background on my history with this car. FEB 28, I bought this car, My first ever stick and first ever car with over 200 HP. Never launched it ever. So after 2 months and first time at the strip. I was asking CHRIS05STi and EATV8 how to launch, so I went.

First Run:
MAJOR BOG CENTRAL

R/T...1.138
60'....3.056
1/4...16.06
MPH..85.91

SECOND RUN:
5K LAUNCH....SPUN ALL 4 WHEELS

R/T...1.246
60'....2.191
1/4...15.188
MPH..90.75

RUN 3
BEST RUN FOR LAST...WELL NOT FOR STi's BUT FOR ME

R/T....936
60'....2.108
1/4...14.458
MPH..96.87

For my first time, prob wasnt bad, but it can only get better....

Looking good Steve. Just work on the launch, and the shift points. Don't want to go to far over the rpm range, gotta shift at 6000-6100 rpm. Then work on shifting faster! You improved very well, shaving about a second from each run...next time, you will def run in the 13's! Good job buddy!

Yup, everyone's first time out it isnt great. At least you made progress, which is what counts the most. You just have to cut down your 60's.
