switching oil is fine, they want you to use dino to get a nice ass coating on everything and to have it break in smoothly..i would probably stick with it for more than 1000 miles though.

Its Red, just the photo lighting

Also with the cure time at Deadbolt, Jerry said it will darken as the turbo warms and cools.

Looking nice!!! Where is that turbo blanket??!? Can you take a pic of it on the turbo?! We gotta meet up and see the difference between your turbo and mine, maybe the way he cut the turbo blanket, it could fit mine as well?!

MacSTi (Steve) came over my house, and did some buku work on our cars/parts.

Here is some of the madness. This is a comparison of Steve's SZ49 (RED) and my SZ55 (Silver). Steve's SZ49 is a 3" Inlet, IWG, Fatboy wheel, 7cm Hotside, Ported and Ceramic coated in Red. My SZ55 is a 3" Inlet, EWG, Fatboy wheel, 8cm Hotside, Ported and Ceramic coated in Silver. Here are the shots for the ones who are interested. You can tell ours are pretty much alike except my hotside is bigger than the SZ49's 7cm Hotside. Measuresments proved that the hotside was obviously bigger.

Next, Steve and I installed exhaust wrap and the Thermo-tec silver wrap for the turbo. Here are some shots of Steve's turbo all finished up!

Steve sanded the front lip after bondo'ing it up previously. Took him most of the day! I then hung the lip in my basement, gave it 2 coats of grey primer, and then 4 nice coats of Satin Black. Here are some pics, enjoy!!

I just got home. The lip came out awesome, I am exhausted and a little high from the spray painting indoors.

Since I got out of work early tonight, I stopped at Home Depot and got the nuts, bolts and washers needed to install it, and it fit perfectly. Hey, I have to say, for a free lip and $40 in parts, it looks darn good. See for yourself. Thanks go out to Chris for the nice paint job.
