Nice time steve, most of the credit probably goes to that harness giving you more confidence

Did Chris run?

Lots of variables play in the factor such as not every car is the same, no ever car reacts the same, not every driver can shift as fast, and elevation is different around the country.

so thats why, if your curious

I believe the best I had was a 13.01x at like 107.xx
First run was at 13.1x at 108.xx, every run I took my time shifting, never attempted to quick shift yet.
Second run, well I bogged 1st and that messed me up cause it caught back up real quick and I was already thrown off when 2nd came into play. Still managed to pull 106mph though....I am not really into the drag racing scene, but it was fun none the less.

haha, you could get into the 12's no problem. Those trap speeds are pretty good also. I might take my car down the track once this summer if i get the balls.

Yah, I know she can def get into the 12's. I am not going to BS, I am not the greatest drag racer out there. There is a fear that I may "break" something, so I don't go balls to the wall yah know? I go out there to have fun. This is my plan, and Steve and I are getting better:

To get better at drag racing, we are trying to perfect our launches, then perfect 1st to 2nd shifts, etc, then perfect fast shifting (close to flat foot). So far we are doing well at the launches, its just the shifting really fast is whats getting me. Steve actaully got awesome grip, thanks to his new/wider tires, I know I prob could of gotten into the 12's with that one pass if I had new/wider tires. Mine are nearing their life. Its easy to watch people race, but its harder to actually do it.....practice def helps.

Hey where in Jersey are you guys? I see Mac is in Somerset. I am just south of Hamilton and I go between Atco and Englishtown to do my runs. I am currently sitting at Stage 2 with Invidia DP, Helix CBE, SPT intake, and Cobb stage 2 flash...

My best time on stock was a 13.1 with a 1.8 60ft. @ 104mph
Stage 1 my best was 13.001 with a 1.75 60ft @ 106mph
Stage 2 I ran last week was 12.73 with a 1.7 60ft @ 107mph...

You can DEFINITELY make 12s running stage 2, especially with a protune. Keep up the awesome work guys!

Thanks John,
Truthfully, with the conditions I had, 1.785 60' time was one of the best I have ever had, thanks to the new 245's. The last run was the best, because it cooled off about 15* to about 60* from the 75* it was when the first run happened. I also think I can shave off a little more, but with the weight of my car with everything I have in it...2 Amps, Sub, and more stuff. 13.4 I think may be almost as good as it can go at this level. Heat soak with the HAI may of contributed a little as well.
The second thing, the first run I was all ready and when i let the clutch out, it came out of 1st and back into neutral, Car jerked and all, and it freaked me out, I thought I broke my Axle.
